Read the fine print of any deal, schedule before payment

I received several other bids for sealcoating my driveway prior to seeing the special price offered on Angie's List. I was very pleased that I engaged Aurora Asphalt and Concrete for the job. Because of having a portion of my driveway replaced prior to the sealcoating, I had to wait three weeks prior to the sealcoating could be done. They met my request beautifully & were very accommodating. I would definitely use them again.

Did an Angie's deal. Company must have had quite a few takers so had to wait some time before it could be completed. They seemed to do a pretty good job.

They arrived promptly, did their work efficiently and cleared out with little upheaval. Left a yellow ribbon across the driveway with instructions not to use it for a couple of days.

The owner called me and set up an appointment that I did not have to be at the home for him to complete the job. The work was done within the day scheduled and they blocked off my driveway for the day so protect the surface. The job was done very neatly with no black residue on anything. The driveway still looks very neat months later. I would recommend this company.

Initially came and swept and power blew off driveway. Filled cracks and allowed to dry overnight. Refilled any sunken cracks and then sealcoated driveway. Highly recommend and will use them again in the future.

They came on time and did their thing quickly. I ended up with some extra asphalt in my yard along the sides of the driveway. Don't know how easy that will be do get rid of in the spring. I got this through a 'Big Deal'. I later saw a slightly better deal from the same company for the same service (also through the 'Big Deal').

Scheduling the work was easy. Aurora is quick on the phone and shows up when expected. They did the work without any hassle and the driveway looked great Unfortunately, before the coating could set, there's was an unexpected downpour that washed away a sizeable portion of their work where the rain comes off our garage roof. Aurora came out within 3 days and repeated the job with no extra cost to me. I will definitely use them again for this work and highly recommend them for their professionalism and skill.

They are flexible with the scheduling. And the quality of the job was good. I do like the new concrete apron they installed.

Aurora did a great job. They were there when promised, did what they said they would do, and charged a reasonable price. I will use them again.

Used an Angie's List Big Deal for driveway asphalt coating. They showed up very early in the morning and made quite a bit of noise (too early and too loud for local noise ordinances). The coupon also gave one price and then it ended up being double. I knew that it would end up being more, but not double. The coupon did not state that almost no driveway was small enough to qualify for deal, but they did send out an email of when they came by and said that it would likely be more than the deal. There are a lot of good companies out there to sealcoat your driveway and I don't think I would use this one again.

Aurora was prompt and polite, the work was done efficiently. It's held up through the summer and now into the fall. Even the first snow fall and subsequent snow blowing has not damaged the surface.

Initially had a commuication problem. I sent a second email and they jumped on it even though it was a busy time of year for them, sent 2 people out within 2 days. First work was to use steel brush-broom to clean driveway while blowing of material with a power blower. It was a windy day and this resulted in a black dust accumulating on sides of garage. This blew off or washed off after a few days and looks fine now. Topcoat was done by pouring, pushing with rubber edged "broom", all basically hand labor. Leaves were falling and they stuck on the coating here and there. Some were difficult to remove, but a power washer took them off. Final result was more than acceptable.

I talked with Randy to setup the job and he was very accomodating to get it completed in a timely manner. Two friendly fellows did the sealcoating and finished in about 2.5 hours. It looked great for a couple days and then within a week, it was hard to tell it was a new sealcoat. It seemed to look quite weathered in a short time. The driveway is bordered by gardens on both sides for most of the length of the driveway. There was "tar" hanging off the sides of the drive in several spots rather than a clean border. Our last sealcoating cost about three times as much but remained new-looking for a long time and had clean borders. I did not contact Randy to see if they could clean up those ragged borders.

He was prompt, courteous, thorough, and professional. The quality of work was outstanding, and I am well pleased with the results. I'd definitely recommend him to everyone.

This went very well. Because this was such a popular offer, it did take a couple of weeks to get on the schedule. NO PROBLEM as far as I was concerned. It was very understandable.

He was great to talk with. Was punctual and kept me filled in as to his arrival. Followed up with general care and future probable needs.

I took advantage of Aurora's special deal coupon on Angie's List for seal coating. We have a rather long driveway, so had to pay a little more, but I expected that and the person on the phone explained it fine. They scheduled the job only about a week out from when I called, which was very nice. The crew came on the morning scheduled and did the job while we were not at home. I've had seal coating done before, and this was a first class job. The surface was properly cleaned first, so no leaves were trapped in the tar and there were no spots where it didn't stick. Also, there was no mess with tar splashed on the garage door or the lawn. The coating is thick enough to last the usual 3 years. I am very pleased with the job. The only thing they might have done would have been to call me or, better, drop by the house afterward to make sure we were pleased with the job.

He got here before I knew it. Driveway was done, presto.

It went very well. The appointment was easy to make. When the weather was questionable the company provided good communication regarding the need to reschedule. A billing question was handled easily and the company surpassed my expectations regarding final cost. I would definitely use this company again, the driveway is now in much better shape.
