Aurora Asphalt & Concrete

They needed several dry days to get the work done and it had been very rainy all spring. They touched base with us several times to let us know they had not forgotten us but rather that they were waiting for the weather to give so they could do the work correctly. Received a call to set up the time, they came, did an excellent job, no messes left behind and the work looked good. Only evidence that they had been there was a large wire push brush was left beind. I let them know about it but they have not picked it up yet. (This is NOT a negative comment about the company by any means!!)

I was satisfied with the sealcoating. The workers were courteous and did a good job.

I thought Aurora did a really nice job with the concrete driveway. It was a fairly complicated job because we shifted our driveway over about 10 feet, but the team was careful and efficient and the craftsmanship looks very good. They also used rebar to tie the new driveway directly into the garage concrete floor, which is nice. I would certainly recommend Aurora to others.

Went just fine. They're only getting a B on quality because there's a spot that's degrading already.

Good work by crew, very conscientious, answered all questions

Aurora was pleasant to communicate with, professional and efficient. They reached out to me within a day after I purchased the Angie's List Big deal and we discussed my concern that my parking pad may have exceeded the purchase specifications. They confirmed my driveway size and assured me that the entire surface area would be covered under the blanket price. They provided an approximate installation date but warned that weather may be a factor. However, the weather was on our side, and Aurora called to confirm install date, arrived as expected and did a great job. Other than the clearly new topcoat, I would never have known that they were onsite at my property. Everything was clean and beautiful and very professionally completed. I highly recommend them and would contact them again for additional services.

They contacted me the day after I ordered the service (7-13th) through Angie List Daily Deals. They said it would probably be a week or so before they could do the seal coat. On 7-17th they sent me a e-mail and said they had a opening for the next day. I did not see the e-mail and they called at 8:15am the next morning to find out if they could do it on the 18th.. I said sure. They said "see you in a little while. I was sick so I was still in bed, but when I got up a few hours later, it was all done. It is a great job! They had to edge the lawn and there was no mess or anything. Looks great, I am real satisfied with the job and the price was right. Judy Lambert

It took time to get it scheduled due to the weather. However, he periodically sent emails letting me know I hadn't been forgotten. It cost a little more due to the driveway being a little larger than the promotion. He could have checked with me once the work was complete to see if I was satisfied. That would have been a nice touch.

The two men who came to our home were just wonderful. They introduced themselves, cleaned the driveway of any debris, cut out the sides of our driveway, and then seal coated. Very professional, and I have given the company's name to others. Very, very happy with them.

They did exactly as discussed, albeit a tad longer than I expected. The price was as quoted, the finished product looks great. I would not hesitate to use them again.

The company was very quick to email me and even call right after I purchased a coupon for the asphalt work on Angies list. Within a week the work was completed!! The workers were friendly, professional and did a great job on my driveway, I was so impressed! One thing that I noticed when I picked this company on Angies list was that some folks marked them down since their prices were slightly higher than others. I don't mind paying a fair price for this kind of quality work. My driveway looks amazing. This was worth every penny! They have a new repeat customer. This was a great experience. I couldn't be happier.

See above - their service area is apparently almost unlimited to the south of their location in Champlin, but going a mere 15 miles to the north is too far. It's their decision, of course, where they want to do business, but people offering Big Deals should be willing to serve a certain radius. (For whatever reason, it won't allow me to rate F overall and N/A to the other categories.)

Gave us estimate of cost and date for work to be done. The date of work was done as estimated, and the finished work is good. Garage doors needed to be open so no concrete would hit the doors, which is good. The contractor told us it would be two days for his work - 1 day for the removal of old concrete and forms to be installed for the new concrete. The second day the next concrete was poured and finished. A warning tape was put up to indicate construction for that area. Nothing was left for us to clean up - they cleaned up after their work.

They were okay. They charged per square foot after the amount that they do. They were prompt and they did a good job. They came and got the job done. That was a good thing. The only drawback that we had was after the winter had gone by, we had ants coming through. We thought that with the filling from the last Fall that we wouldn't have ants for Spring.

I was contacted by Aurora immediately after I purchased this Big Deal. They accommodated my schedule and arrived on the appointment date early. The crew informed me of what they would be doing and advised me on when I could drive on my driveway again. They worked quickly and left the area neat and clean. They did an excellent job. I would definitely call on them again.

We scheduled a day and time that would work for them to come by and gather information for generating an estimate for repaving my driveway. They called to reschedule the site visit with very short notice. I said OK, and we rescheduled for five days later at 6pm. They didn't show up at 6:00 and I had to leave at about 6:25. I called and left a message that I could not continue to wait for them and asked that they call me. Someone did call me later, having shown up significantly late. I told him that I was expecting them at 6:00 and had to leave before they showed up. I then said there were a couple things I wanted them to know about what I wanted regarding the work. The guy then said we should reschedule, (again). I told him that what I wanted to explain was very simple and that I could easily explain it to him over the phone. I asked if he was there at the site. He said yes. I said that in that case it would be easy for me to explain it to him. Then he said something about it was too hard to park, (which didn't make any sense). I told him he could just park in the driveway or around back. He continued to say we should reschedule and that it was too hard for him to park. This was difficult for me to believe and I think he had probably already left and didn't want to return, (but that's only a guess). I told him that they had already rescheduled me once and that I wanted to get this done. He continued to give me an argument. I told him that he was creating an inconvenience for me and that I couldn't understand what the problem was - why, if he was there at the house, he couldn't just talk with me on the phone about what I wanted. He then just bailed out on the conversation and hung up. This was incredibly unprofessional and I would never consider them for any kind of work again.

It worked out real well. They did a nice job.

Bought the Angies List coupon....with our rainy weather they were a little behind, but it was understandable. It took them 2 weeks to get to it, but i wasn't in a hurry. When the time came, they called ahead, came out, did a great job! My driveway looks new again. I would for sure use them again. Great price, good service. Thanks!

The price was in line with previous seal coating services I have had in the past. The product looks very good and hopefully it will perform better than products I've had in the past.

I purchased the sealcoating as an Angies deal. However, it was a very cold and rainy spring, delaying the timing of Aurora completing the work. However, they did an outstanding job of calling/emailing to communicate their schedules for completing the work. I never questioned what the next step was because they made sure I knew. When the weather finally permitted, they called me and scheduled a date and completed the work on time and exactly as I expected. I would highly recommend them for future work!

The first time half of it got rained off But on being notified of the problem they got right back and set everything right. They did a very good job of initial andsubsequent cleaing of the dirve. They also braced back dirt on edges of the drive, before putting the seal down. This was a really good job.
