Went well. They gave me a window and they were on time. Finished quickly and they were on their way.

My initial response to this company was excellent, as I received an email within 24 hours of purchasing this deal. After 3 days and no follow up to set up the appointment, I began to worry. I emailed my contact number to possibly get a response, but after the 10th business day, and no contact, I finally gave up and called Angie's List help number. Magically, within six hours of making that phone call, the business finally contacted me and the job was completed the next day. Although the driveway looked good, the detailing before the seal coating is what upset me the most. Not only did they power blow the driveway clean, but found it appropriate to do so INTO my garage, which was coated with dirt and debris, as well as blew it into my snowblower, which I now will have to clean out before it can be used. There was also no contact with a price for the overage charges, being that my driveway was over 1000 square feet, so instead of getting a heads up, I was given an email receipt 2 days after the job was completed. Not very professional in my opinion.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was okay. They were overwhelmed by the Big Deal but they did a better job of communicating. They sent out an email and they sent another one out 48 hours later. I waited that weekend and I did say okay. It was so much for a certain amount of square feet and I knew mine was going to be bigger than that and so I waited another week after that first set of emails. "How is this going to work? Are you going to come tell me how much this is going to be?" They said no. They basically just showed up and charged me with the difference. It was fine. They came, and they did a nice job. This is my problem when these guys get overwhelmed by the Big Deals. You bought this and if it's going to be a month, just tell me that. I understand you're getting overwhelmed. It's good for a small business. I love that in this economy you're getting business but just tell me. They didn't tell me anything.

Basically, it went well and being that the driveway is original to the home it should last a few more years.

The company (Rhonda?) was very pleasant on the phone. They were here on schedule and did a good job on a very challenging driveway. The seal-coating should get us through the winter and then will possibly need replacing. At this time the service was what we needed financially to hold us over.

I bought the service from Angies Big Deal. The company promptly called me to schedule an appointment., I did not have to call them. They were able to easily schedule a time that worked within my schedule. My driveway looks good.

Aurora sealed our driveway punctually and professionally. Cracks needed a second effort due to a few places where seal had sunk, leaving room for freezing,thawing and potentially leaving parts of driveway in a deteriated condition. There was also a misunderstanding and lack of good communication on work asked for relating to a patch. When I brought this to their attention a full anc complete explanation was provided, which speaks to their professionalism. They were also very prompt in stopping back to reseal the cracks and to seal a 3' x 3' area where I had then done the patch work myself. Good company and pride in workmanship with great customer service.

The work was very high quality and was done for the agreed upon price and on time. I would definitely use Aurora again or recommend them to others.

I am very impressed with the job that was done. Sometimes when you buy a special offer you get concerned about what you get, but I got more than I expected. Aurora called me to schedule an early appointment, however the weather was a bit questionable, so they showed up later in the day. The gentlemen was very courteous and started working immediately. He trimmed the edge of the driveway, swept it clean, then filled all the cracks before applying the seal coating. The coating that he used was thick and rich in color, not the thin spray on stuff. As my driveway was a bit worn, I was worried about how it would turn out. It now has such a new fresh look, all my neighbors have commented not only on the look, but the amount of work that was done. I would use them again, and plan to in a couple years for a refresh.

The provider first came out to survey the work. Then on the day decided on they showed up on-time, worked swiftly, and had both areas of concrete poured by the early afternoon. They returned several days later to score the surface. We are very pleased with tehe results, and would recomend their services to others.

Everything went perfect from start to finish. I had another appointment that day and they were able to come out and do the job with no one home. The work was superb in every way.

They were extremely easy to work with and offered us options as to what needed to by done. Cleaned up work area after they were done with job.

This is the second time using Aurora. First time was last year installing a concrete apron for our 3 car driveway. They do quality work at very reasonable prices, and in a timely manner.

They were great. Did exactly as promised. They were prompt, courteous, hardworking. An excellent company.

They were here on time and did everything they said they were going to do - repair and fill minor cracks and re-sealed the entire driveway. It definitely looks better than it did. Good job!

. The workers cleaned the driveway of all loose dirt and old flaky sealer and blew off the entire driveway. They then Cleaned out all minor cracks and filled them with crack sealer. New sealer was then applied. We did exceed the contracted footage by a small amount, but the workers approved it in the contracted amount and did not charge us for it. They put up a yellow tape barricade to keep traffic off until the sealant dried which takes approximately 24 hours.

We were very pleasantly surprised at the professionalism of the entire staff at Aurora. The two young men who showed up to seal our driveway were excellent. They took great care to do things right even though it was sweltering hot and humid outside with temps somewhere in the 90's. The price was exactly what they said it would be $199.00 Angie's List Deal plus $34.00 for some extra holes to be filled. The edges of the driveway were very neat and straight and everything was meticulously cleaned up. Thanks so much for doing a Great Job at a Great Price.

quick and easy with a good result

I bought a coupon for half off of a drive way asphalt sealcoating. Aurora was great. They called to schedule the service, showed up on time, did a quality job, and didn't leave a mess. What more could you ask for?

It was a good experience. They did good work, were very responsive to my emails, and were careful not to get sealant on the lawn.

Summary: The actual on-site crew was great. They were friendly, professional, and given the state of my driveway, did a great job! The office and sales crew, however, were not the most responsive, and failed in some of what I would consider basic customer service tasks. Thus the mixes of As and Cs, with an overall B. Details: Before the job, emails between myself and Aurora seemed to require two emails from me for every one of theirs. I initially reached out to Aurora via email with some additional questions regarding the "Big Deal" they were advertising on AL. My first request for information went unanswered, and after a couple of weeks I tried again, quoting my original email and requesting information before the deal expired. I received an immediate response with a "Not sure why I didn't get your email" and all the information I needed. Unfortunately, though, this tracked through with almost every following email. I would send an email with a question and get no response. Then I would send another and would get a response. With all the back and forth, the deal expired, and to Aurora's credit, they did honor the $199 price. When it came time to schedule an appointment, I was given one day's heads up that they'd be able to do the work, and that they'd be at my house the next day between 8am and 3pm. I arrived home around 4pm to find that my driveway was not yet done. I called Aurora and left a message. I was called back and told that they were running "a little late" and should be there any minute. Crew showed up at 5:45pm. They were clearly hot and tired, so I tried to be extra nice to them so there wasn't any "last house of the day" syndrome, and as I said in the summary, they were great guys. Friendly, detailed, efficient. They cleaned my driveway within and inch of its life and trimmed the nearby grass immaculately. My girls (6 and 4) watched them through the window the whole time, and asked about 1000 questions- they were politely answered and joked around with them. There was additional crack filling on the schedule, and I was told I didn't need it, and I appreciate that kind of honesty. They also told me straight up that my driveway was going to need to be replaced sooner rather than later, which I kinda already knew. So a mixed bag- Work done and Crew quality was great, but the communications and customer service on the office end came up lacking. It's fundamental of this kind of service to know the progress of your crews, and to call a client to let them know they're running late, especially almost three hours late for a seven hour window. I shouldn't have to call you to be told you're running late.

They were so thorough, that they took 1 1/2 hours to do a VERY complete job. I've never seen such a thorough and complete job. I can't express how professionally this job was done.

I paid an extra $140 on top of the deal amount because of the extra square footage of my driveway. I've used them 3 times. Once for seal coating and also for some concrete work. Overall I like them an I would give them all A's.
