Aurora Asphalt & Concrete

This was part of an Angie's Big Deal. The first day they came, I got a call from them and they indicated I would have a better product and be more satisfied if I made the apron larger to line up with my sidewalk. It would cost extra money but they thought it would be worth it. I'm glad he called and explained the option to me. I approved the additional concrete and it was well worth it. They did the work when they said and left the job site very clean both days. I am very satisfied.

The work went smoothly from start to finish. They arrived on time to do both the prep work and pour the concrete, and were professional and clean. We paid extra for extra square footage outside of the "deal", and the price was very reasonable.

The service went fine. It was really good. They were very good. They came on time. They did everything they said they were going to do and they gave us all the information we needed. They were really good. It did not cost more than the $1,450 Big Deal. The price was very good. So far, it is fine. It has just been put in like less than a week. It has not had time to do anything bad, but it looks good now. We did not really have an issue, but they were very good about telling us when they were coming and all that. They were right on-time and they were very professional. We would use them again in the future if we have to.

Their team was punctual and work was performed well. As instructed we did not drive on the apron for about a month since it was cold and it would take more than usual time for it to set. However, there are a few cracks on one of the edges and a few holes already showing in some places. I have contacted the company through Angie's list to see if they can take a look. Will updated how it goes.

We got other quotes and they were cheapest by $5000. It was a great experience. They were fantastic. Overall they really did a good job. I would use them again and I would recommend them.

They were fine. They filled a couple of cracks, which are still there; but I don't know if that was still a part of the service. They were very nice and pleasant. They were on time. Everything was done well. It looked nice and black, until a cat came & walked up and made cracks all across my front entry. They were very prompt and came right out. I didn't have a problem with them coming out when they said. The quality was fine. Their responsiveness was good. If I may or may not use them depending on what best deal comes along.

It was okay. They did a good job. They were slow in scheduling but the result was very good. I would probably use them in the future.

The whole project went very smoothly. Aurora removed the old asphalt and concrete on a Tuesday and poured the new concrete the next day. I had to wait a few days for the concrete to cure before I could drive on it, but that's perfectly normal. The one thing I'd ding Aurora on is that when I asked the project lead on Tuesday (the day the old material was removed) how long I'd have to wait before I could drive on the new apron, he told me Sunday. However, when I asked the same question of one of the guys who poured the concrete the next day, he told me the following Tuesday. Just to play it safe, I took his advice. It would have been nice to have gotten the same answer from both individuals, though. I used an Angie's List coupon that offered an apron of up to 150 square feet for $1450, and the total was 140 square feet. It was a great deal as far as I'm concerned, and I'll certainly consider using Aurora for any future concrete projects.

It was a Big Deal purchase. It was very good. It was very fast. I think they were out in the next week or two after the purchase. There were no extra charges. It looks very nice now and I think it was filled right with concrete this time. That has never happened that way before when we had someone else out there. They put sand in there and that didn't do anything. It just made the hole all over again. They were very nice and very fast about it. They did the work real good. It was a little pricey but we needed it badly so we had no choice. I didn't expect the price to be that much. It was a very good quality. I probably would use them again.

It went well. He fulfilled the services that I purchased. He came out as scheduled and didnt try to upsale me on any other services.

They did a good job but forgot to put a barrier up on the drive way so the garbage collector left foot prints on the concrete curb.

Took a while to schedule, but they communicated this proactively to me. When they did schedule, they were there and completed the work when they said they would.

This was a great experience! Ron and his crews were very professional, polite, and answered all of our questions. They did an excellent job with the concrete, and cleaned everything up very well. We would highly recommend their service, and we will use them again this coming spring to additional crack repair on the driveway as well as seal-coat.

Went fine. Charged $70 extra for the extra square footage over 1000 sq foot. Would use them again. Arrived on time, blow off the driveway and sealed all the cracks. They were very professional.

Very pleasant experience. Aurora was responsive, scheduled the driveway removal 2 weeks out. Guys showed up and removed the driveway, no messes in the yard or to the house. A few days later, they came back to prep the driveway. A few days after that, the asphalt crew came out with their big machinery and laid a nice, clean driveway. No messes or mishaps, everything looks great.

Seal coating was not the right procedure for my driveway, and I sort of knew it when I used the coupon. The gentleman called after inspecting the driveway (I wasn't home, but my wife was) before they started the work. He wanted to make sure I understood that the driveway needs major repair and seal coating is only going to partially fix the cracks and the few spots at which asphalt was coming off. I did tell him that I understood and it's OK to go ahead. He was kind enough to take the garbage cans inside so that my wife didn't have to, and also when blowing the leaves, realized that some leaves had entered the garage before they had arrived, so he offered to blow those leaves out of the garage too. Overall, in terms of professionalism, I'd give them A++.

When they put the sealer down it was getting late at night so they hurried to get it done. Then that night we had a down pour of rain and the sealer came off in some places. They came back a couple days later and corrected everything that was wrong. They were very friendly and co-operative. I would definitely use them again.
