They were able to schedule me within a week of our first contact. I came home, the work was done and looked good. It cost a few bucks extra for the extra square footage of my driveway.

The first step, getting the driveway measured and quoted went well. The guy was late but not a big deal. The guys that came and tore out the old driveway did a nice job but they were unable to properly mark one corner because their marking paint can didn't work and that caused a problem later. Aurora sent someone to mark and pack the driveway without letting us know. The driveway was marked incorrectly and I had to dig out a section of now-packed crushed gravel/concrete to correct their mistake so I could plant seed. Had they told us they were coming, I would have been home to make sure the work was done correctly. When we complained, they told us they would be packing the driveway again right before paving, whcih wasn't true and didn't happen. So, we'll see how the driveway holds up. I was also not happy that Aurora actually did not do the paving. We had chosen Aurora because of their high reviews on Angie's List so we expected they would actually be the ones paving our driveway. Turns out, they outsourced the paving to another company that we, of course, had no opportunity to research. The driveway is not draining properly and puddles in 1 area. Overall I am not happy with Aurora and I now question the validity of using Angie's List due to Aurora subcontracting the paving job.

Work was completed in a timely fashion. Installers were neat and result is well done. The price increased when I decided to increase the size of the skirt adding an extra foot of cement.

This company gets A for communication. We decided on a day to start and it was going to rain. My stoop sits above a well room they decided to postpone the date concern for rain getting in the basement. They told me the process on how the week would go. There was an issue with the front stoop and they needed to fix the wall which I was told could cost me more money on the estimate. I appreciate the possibility that this could be an issue in the beginning. I wanted a little more of a gradual sidewalk and they were able to accommodate my wishes. My only complaint is they left large chunks of concrete and asphalt on the yard or in the street. They had 10 some nails on the ground once they took the forms away. They just need to fine tune before leaving a job site. I am very happy and I love my new driveway it is such a welcome site coming home at night. [Member name removed]

Ron was very responsive in my request for a bid, always getting back to me within a day. He gave me the Angie's List pricing and we scheduled a date. His crew arrived as expected and did a great job on the apron. They cut the seam perfectly straight, which was really important to me that it look good, and the entire project went well. They spent about an hour or two prepping on the first day (removing asphalt, prepping the base), then spent a few more hours pouring and finishing the concrete on the second day. The crew was polite and efficient. The existing driveway was a bit of a mess following the project, so I'd suggest in planning you do sealcoating following an apron install.

Whole process went very well.

Contacted me within hours via Angieslist, less then week later job was complete and perfect. Will be using them in future.

Two employess were sent to perform the services. They were pleasant and did a good job of filling cracks and black sealcoating the driveway. No mess, no putting the sealer where it didn't belong. They did a neat and thorough job.

They did a great job and even though it unfortunately rained and washed away the seal twice which was out of their control, they came back each time to re-do the job. They were pro-active, responsive and prompt. Will totally use them again in the future.

He was very honest. He advised us that we may have a foundation issue as well and that their company does not do foundation work but wouldn't want to give us a estimate, come out and replace the cement driveway and then we still have water in the basement. We appreciated his honesty as the other company gave us an expensive estimate and did not even share with us that we should consider this possibility. He told us to look for someone who does both cement and foundation work.

Work proceeded well with the crew arriving on schedule and removing the old driveway. Foreman spoke with me about the work and how they would proceed. We discussed specific details and agreed upon how they would handle several conditions. They cleaned up very nicely after they did the demolition and another crew came in the next day to finish pouring the concrete and finishing the project.

The crew arrived right on time and set to work. The tearout took several hours. They were courteous and even helped move some flowers that were too close to the edge of the work. Next day the second crew arrived and set the straight as well as curved edge forms and poured and leveled the concrete. Both crews cleaned up well before departure and the completed work looks great.

After using two of the big well known companies the last five years I became disgusted with the poor service I was getting. Both companies failed to fill in the cracks even though they claimed they would and last year they seal coated right over leaves and small twigs. This year I looked on Angie's List and found Aurora. The owner gave me a quote as we talked, (looked up my address and surface size as he explained his methods) and came out the following week. They had all of the right equipment and materials to do it right. I left for a doctor's appointment and when we returned they had done a GREAT job! All of my cracks were filled with hot ashalt and the seal coating looked great as well. Nice to see a company that takes pride in doing it right!

Like clockwork. Clearly they have done this before and what an excellent job they did! They arrived on the day and at the time specified, did all the work in a very efficient manner, done, cleaned up and gone. I am very impressed with how organized the process was.

They were supposed to come out to our home and put in a new driveway apron. Luckily I called them the day of to ask about what time they were going to be out to our house because they were headed to the wrong house! If I wouldn't have called them we would have paid to have another house get a new driveway apron?! Why would you not call to confirm things? Who doesn't confirm the date, time, location, etc? Every other deal we have purchased we have received more than one confirmation phone call to make sure they had all the accurate information. We moved a few days before purchasing the deal. But went in and changed our address in Angie's List to our new address well before we moved, so the correct address was in there. So not only did they take our full payment of $1,500 right away, but they couldn't get out for over a month to actually do the work. With something like this, companies should wait until after the work has been completed to take such a big payment. They had our $1,500 for over a month with no work to show for it. Then the day they were supposed to come out and do the work, the tell me they don't "service" our area. We are less than 15 minutes away from our old location...how can you not service that area? So again, we pay them $1,500, it takes them over a month to come out, then they don't even come out! Outrageous! Then the owner can't even keep his customers straight. - about a half hour after them calling off our job, I get an Angie's List message from him, saying he will be out the next day to start the driveway apron? What? You just told me you didn't service our area and now you are telling me that you will be out the next day to service us? So I call to confirm this message and he accidentally sent it to us when it was meant to go to a different customer, dude. Get your crap straight! Because of that, I am even more fuming mad about it. Seriously people, don't waste your time with these people. They are absolutely terrible in every way.

Went well - I contacted well in advance because I had a trip planned, couldn't make it before my departure. Got an e-mail when I was gone, and the job was done while I was away. Work looks good to me.

Steve arrived on time and bid the job on the spot. I worked w/ Ron in the office to schedule the job. Lucas and Matthew arrived as scheduled and competed the job in about 2 hrs. We are pleased w/ the results; the driveway looks much better. Lucas and Matthew were very efficient and professional. They made constructive suggestions abt a small additional project.

Aurora did a great job. Fast response to schedule the work and great results. Fully cleaned the driveway, edged, and applied a high quality coat of seal. Looks great and I will use them again in the future.
