Everything was great, only thing was communication was lacking a bit. We would have appreciated a comunication when our deposit was received letting us know what to expect for next steps, and also more information upon completing the job. They did respond promptly when we reached out.

Just as planned. Was out of town when the work was completed came home to a like new driveway.

The estimate was quick, came in at a fair price, and they were able to complete the job before winter (a plus!). Nice work. I would definitely hire this company again.

Signed contract late May and waited until the end of July before I contacted them for an update. Due to weather and our family vacation we finally got the job completed late August. The only issue we have is that we have seams down our driveway.

I received a call from the owner the day that I made my purchase and was informed that I would get an email the day prior to them coming out. When the two workers arrived and before they started doing anything I was asked if I had any concerns. I did point out a few areas on the driveway that had shown up in the past week after the heavy rains. It was explained to me that old sealcoating will flake off and more may come off as they clean the driveway but that is nothing to worry about. The new application will take care of it. Prior to leaving one of the workers reminded me how long I should wait before using the driveway. Great communication by this service provider and his employees! My driveway looks fantastic and I strongly recommend Aurora Asphalt & Concrete.

I've used Aurora Asphalt several times over the years. They have always done a great job and have professional employees. I stayed off the driveway after they were done for a couple of days and the seal coat has been holding up well.

The entire process was great from the quote to finally installation of the driveway. The demolition crew of Jordan & Lucas were fantastic. They answered our questions and totally rocked it. I would definitely would use them again.

Very reasonable quote, and the final cost came in right on the button. Sure, it took them a while to get to our job, but the weather has made this the summer from **** for folks who do this kind of work. The 2 man crew was very professional and friendly, and the quality of their work is excellent. I will definitely hire these guys again, and now that I know how affordable they are I won't wait another 25 years to have our driveway sealcoated.

They did a great job! My concrete looks wonderful and it is keeping the water away from our house and out of our lower level. I would hire them again!

It went well and I got a nice new sidewalk for less money than the original estimate, so I'm grateful for that. I was surprised that they left a 2-3 inch gap on each side between the sidewalk and the hole that they dug out, and that I now need to pay someone else to come fill that in for me. I also thought that the owner (or whoever was in charge of interfacing with me on the phone) seemed a bit impatient with my questions. But overall they did a nice job and I guess that this is common for concrete work (the gaps left after they dig out the holes to lay the new concrete).

Some rain delays, not there problem. Tearout was quick, drove on class 5 for a few weeks. Then driveway was laid in abput 2 hrs.

Wend well. Only took a couple of hours. Came at time promised. Called earlier to say they had an opening to do sooner and avoid forecasted rain. We accepted, they performed on time and within budget. No extra charge for about 50 extra square feet than promised.

This was the worst experience we've ever had with work done at our home. The estimate was easy and the good experience stops there. Yes, our driveway is flat. If Aurora spends the time to read and respond to this review. I do acknowledge that the run from house to street is flat. The workmanship on our driveway is terrible. There is an intentional dip in the asphalt near the sidewalk entry to the house where inches of water puddle in a 3 foot area. You can’t enter the house without walking through it. Not looking forward to this freezing in the winter. There are also areas where the rollers left dips and the asphalt is not smooth. Puddles are created on the surface, leaving pockets of sediment after evaporation. Upon requesting explanation for this poor workmanship, Aurora’s response is; 1. That they don’t see the dips caused by the rollers, they think that it’s very smooth. (see pic) 2. That there was nothing else they could do but create a large dip in the driveway where they knew water would collect. “if it were my house, I wouldn’t worry about it” I’ve had two other asphalt companies come out to talk me through how they would/will fix this. They entirely disagree with Aurora’s approach to drainage and both have guaranteed me a better result. Do I think these other companies just want money (as Aurora suggested when I mentioned this)? No, they actually didn’t want to get involved, but were curious about their competitors and felt they should say something after seeing the poor workmanship. The 3 year warranty on workmanship that I have with Aurora seems to only be good if they acknowledge a workmanship problem. They don’t, so they won’t make this right. I’m beyond frustrated and this is going to cost us more to have fixed then would have originally if I'd have gone with a better company. I hope this is a cautionary tale for anyone thinking of doing business with Aurora.

Setting up an appointment was easy and they showed up when they said they would. They passed on replacing the porch as the cement work they did was sidewalks and driveways. I appreciated that they didn't try to take on a project they weren't comfortable with. Gave us a good estimate for the driveway with plans for what it would look like. Before I scheduled the job, I had a change to the plans that they did easily even though it was for less work. They came out three times, once to take out the old driveway and prep the site. Secondly, to regrade the site and thirdly to lay the new asphalt. They were very professional, answered all our questions and actually made another change to the plans.

Concerns arose after the forms were placed. Adam came out and worked with us and the pour team to make things the way we wanted. Adam, the tear out team and the pour team were great. When my wife had questions she was not talked down to, she was given the answers and they made sure she was comfortable with the answers. Very pleased with the work.

We were on vacation out of state when they did our driveway, so when we returned home our other car was stuck in the garage for more than a week. The yellow tape that they had placed at the end of our driveway had fallen down and someone had pulled into our driveway to turn around.

They did a great job preparing the surface and did an excellent job!

I have no complaints about the quality of the work. It is definitely an upgrade from the original that was in place. We did have a couple communication hurdles but we got through those in the end.

Professional, high quality service. Our project would have been done early if it weren't for rain delays. Very pleased and will use them again.
