While Mike was there fixing my gates I asked him to look at my unfinished retaining walls which needed cap block. Mike sent someone out to give me an estimate and date to complete the work. The work was done on the date agreed upon and the yard was cleaned up nicely when the walls were complete.
There were two small issues - nothing that should affect anyone choosing this company. I will mention the issues to the owner when using them for future projects.
This company is very prompt. No lag time between calling them and the completion of the work. And the quality of the work is excellent!
"Thanks for the great review [Member name removed]. Your landscaping design and stonework looks great so we were glad to be able to help put on the finishing touches and get those gates in order. Please call again any time and thanks again for the business and the very positive review."
"[Member name removed], thanks for the great review and we were glad to be able to help you recover quickly from this problem. Your cooperation and understating while we dealt with the debris and re-build process was most appreciated. Thanks again for the business and the excellent review."
The work performed was of the highest quality. Keith was excellent at communicating with us throughout the project and showed us the work that he did during each phase. We will be hiring them again to some work upstairs installing tile in an entry way and refinishing the hardwood floor in our kitchen.
The pricing was fair and upfront, with no surprises when it came time to pay the bill. We definitely feel that this company provides great value as their work truly is top notch.
"[member name removed], thanks for the great review and I apologize for missing this on the work order but YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PAY A SECOND TRIP CHARGE ON THE SAME PROJECT. I'll send you a refund check for the $40.00. Our policy is that the trip charge applies only on the first time out for any multi-trip project. Thanks again for the great review and please call us anytime."
One thing to note is that you get a different person every time, at least we have in the several times we've used their services.
Mike helped me determine what products I needed (size, model, etc); he assessed the overall work that needed to be done; and made some very helpful suggestions. We reviewed pricing. We made an appointment for the work to commence. The
skilled handyman was prompt, professional, neat and very fast. He obviously had a great deal of experience and really knew what he was doing. He completed all the items on my list to my satisfaction.I am starting a new list and I will definitely call on Mike and his crew again.

Ultimately, it took three days to complete the repair (day one: estimate, day two: install drywall and let it dry overnight, day three: paint). The representative arrived on time or early for the second and third days. The bathroom looked great when the work was completed. The work area was well cleaned upon completion.
Mike (owner) was very accommodating, answered all my questions, and patiently figured out how to apply the Angie's List coupon to my job.
"We were late due to a mix up on our part in scheduling but the original trip was requested just to do an estimate. There was no mention of an emergency when he placed the call. We did locate the source of the leak on the first call and did get it stopped. However until the area dried out we could not perform the work so it was scheduled for his next available day the following Wednesday. With repairs of this size involving drywall it almost always takes multiple trips to allow for dry times to get the best results."
"Thanks, glad we were able to help out so quickly and get this done for you."
"Member....thanks for the great review and for your business. Hope we can help out again in the future."
"All of this work was on tile or cement floors on a dry day. We were back and forth from the garage and their tiled kitchen and tiled laundry room constantly for 3 hours cutting and trimming the cabinets. There was no dirt in the area and we made sure we cleaned up after ourselves before we left. We were told we were to re-install a microwave and 2 cabinets when we first made this appointment. When we called the customer the night before we were also told we were to install some additional tile in the area where the microwave used to be. When we arrived the customer had 20 of the 35 additional tiles they needed, no grout and no adhesives to attach the tiles. To install the microwave we had to remove a row of tile so the microwave would fit properly. We did drop 3 of these pieces of tiles behind the range but planned to recover them before we left. We had to go to the local Home Depot to get the right grout and tiling materials. When the craftsman returned they refused to pay for our time and started to argue about how slow we were, how much time this was taking and became very argumentative about having to pay for our time to shop. We ALWAYS explain this to customers in those instances where they don’t want to shop or cannot. In this instance we would have been waiting around for them to do the shopping so it was faster for us to go and make sure we got the right materials. At that point we cleaned up the area and gave them the bill for the time we had spent to complete the other work. They gave our craftsman the $320 for the work we did but then posted this complaint. When I called them to talk about finishing the tile job and trying to resolve this, all they wanted to talk about was being overcharged for my time. I sent them back their check for $320.00 in full ."
