Todd and his team were on time, professional and efficient. 2 painters to seal the entire basement. They showed up at 8am (when Todd said they'd be) and were done by noon. Communications were great leading up to the job. Expectations and pricing were set all prior to the day with no hidden costs. Painters cleaned up everything and were effective communicators as well. Overall wonderful experience! We highly recommend Todd and his team.

They were very professional, very knowledgeable and very meticulous. When we noticed some very small things, they immediately fixed them. They repainted the front door three times just because they did not feel that it was good enough. When they finally got it to the third time, it looked like it was factory made. It was a very good experience. They were just kind of head and shoulders above the other painters that we talked to and they really did a phenomenal job. One of the painters was actually an artist so he was very meticulous and he knew what he was doing. I would definitely recommend them highly.

Excellent - no problems.  We had Woodland Painting do the same painting nine years ago.  Extremely well pleased and will hire them again for any painting jobs.

This is the 2nd time that Woodland has painted the exterior of our home.  Todd and his team work quickly and do a great job with clean up each day.  Todd is very helpful with color selection and choosing the right products to use on our home.  We recommend Todd and will use Woodland again in the future.

We contacted Todd based on personal information plus Angie's list recommendation.  He responded immediately and arranged for an appointment in our home.  He was very patient and extremely well informed about color combinations.
Arrangements were made for them do do the work while we were out of town.  When we walked in the door, we were thrilled--like a new house.  Everything was spit and polish.  We feel like we have a new house. 
This was a totally positive, professional experience and we can recommend them without hesitation.

This review is an update from my previous review of 5/23/2013.  As stated in that review Woodland Painting Inc. did an excellent job in painting the whole INTERIOR of the house.  The attention paid to the taping was great; we did not find one drop of paint on any of the woodwork.  In addition to painting they also did a nice job restaining all of the windowsills in the house.  They also moved the furniture, covered the floors and took down the window treatments and rehung them.  
Great job on the EXTERIOR of the house as well.  We had them paint the whole exterior of the house "from top to bottom".  They taped and covered all of the windows so that not a drop of paint got on the windows.  They also gave the house a good power wash before painting and did a great job of picking up after themselves when they were finished.  Todd Anderson, owner, was on top of everything and made sure everything was going ok.; Todd was very accommodating and returned all phone calls quickly.  I would definitely recommend Woodland Painting to anyone.

The work was ok.  I felt they spent much too much time taping .  They sprayed the ceilings and when they had to touch up areas -( it's an old house) -  they used a roller so that the texture was different. It made for a slightly patchy look.  If they had used the roller on the ceiling in the first place they wouldn't have had that problem and wouldn't have had to spend half a day masking everything.
I had an Angie's List coupon but if I had paid the full price I might have thought it a bit high for the amount of work done.
the painters were careful and left everything clean and returned to the way it was.  They were pleasant and easy to work with and considering that it is an old house the work was satisfactory.
I'm not sure I would hire them again without getting other bids first.

Hired Woodland Painters (Heath) because they seemed to be very trustworthy and good Angie's List rating ... we work and would not be home for much of the work.  The spring has been very wet.  The painting was finished and looks good.  The painters did a good job sanding and patching a pretty worn south side. 
Painting was completed with the following issues:  1.  Pile of tarps left up against home on slope funneled water into our family room.  We moved our furniture, shop vac the water and get de-humidifier and fans going.  Told lead painter .. he suggested we put in a insurance claim.  No apology.  2.  Came home from work one day to find trim paint drooling down the siding and sliding glass aluminum door frame.  Called Heath to express concern about painting in the rain.  He assured us it would be 'OK' and has given us another years warranty.
The jury is still out as to whether the paint will last because they painted in the rain and humidity.

I have been very happy with their services.

They were great. I was very happy with that. They were very responsive and would call back right away. They were very detailed on the phone letting me know what they would do and what I needed to do. They called the day before to let me know when they would be there and they showed up on time.

It has been excellent and we decided to hire them for an exterior job as well.

Woodland was very responsive, punctual and professional. The guys got a little sloppy toward the end of the 2day project as they were nearing the end of the workweek and were hurrying to finish up, but nothing that was not easily correctable.

We purchased an Angie's List deal for 2 painters for a day.
I spoke with Todd over the phone prior to the job. Scheduling was easy.
I bought the paint myself, but I was able to use Woodland's account (with their permission) to receive a discount at the store.
On the day of service, Heath arrived with two painters. We all discussed the scope of work. Heath told me he'd be leaving, but would return at the end of the day to check how the job was progressing and finishing.
They carefully removed my furniture and wall hangings and then got to work. They removed my window treatments, and because we were getting rid of them, they patched the walls.
Heath returned as promised. He helped the guys finish up. At my request, he provided me with an estimate to complete the painting of my two story foyer. 
They were set to return my furniture to the room- but I asked them not to so I could shampoo the carpet.
They were clean, efficient, respectful and friendly. They did a beatiful job! I would definitely have Woodland back in my home for my next project.

Todd and his team were great. They did a wonderful job on the windows and went above and beyond to paint the ceiling, which needed a touch up.

The experience was great. I appreciated the visit beforehand to walk through exactly what we wanted done. We received a detailed list of work to be done and were able to refer to it the day the painters arrived. The gentlemen were polite, respectful and professional and did great work.

I bought their big deal coupon when offered as I wanted the master bedroom painted and the Big Deal came along at the right time.  They painted over a very bright pink in a room with a lot of unique angles and features in it.  I had 2 painters for the day but the owner even pitched in a helped for a bit.  I hired them for the master bedroom but they are so fast that they also got a small bedroom/office and finished a wall going into the basement.
I couldn't have asked for more and they were great to work with.

There was a 3 person crew, including the owner.  They were careful to tape off everything and let me know ahead of time when I needed to be out of the house.  They kept me in the loop throughout the project.  They cleaned up very well. They just did a top notch job.

These guys are amazing!  We've used "buy now" painters before with Angie's List, but were never so impressed as we have been with Woodland Painting.  They two guys on the job were very pleasant and knew exactly what to do and where to do it.  They worked very hard.  Their supervisor stopped in twice to make sure that everything was going well with the job and to answer any questions.  They did a great job and we will definitely hire them again.

Owner didnt get to quite finish (I thought it looked complete!) so he came back the next week and finished. I admire and appreciate a person who takes pride in their craft, and will insist on the job being "done right".

Heath was the consummate professional. I asked for a touch up or two after the work was done and he obliged.
