Todd was great at checking in before the appointment. He and Ryan arrived on time; Ryan worked quickly and efficiently. Todd checked back twice to make sure that the job was done to our satisfaction.

First, Todd gave excellent supervision of the job. Todd came over with his painter, John, at the beginning of the day to make sure the job was understood, and then Todd returned at the end of the day to make sure I was satisfied with the work. Second, John was an excellent painter, nice person and he kept at his work throughout the day. As noted, John was very dedicated to his work, taking only a short lunch break and zero "smoke breaks," etc. The taping process for trim work is extensive, and John made very clean lines in all of his trim work. I would ask for John to be my painter if I had another job.

The job went better than I could have imagined. These rooms hadn't been painted in six years and suffered the abuse of small children and amateur painters. Todd, (the owner) arrived first, to have a look at the job and see what was involved. Then John the painter arrived and got to work! They estimated the job would take 8 hours including patching and two coats of paint and that's exactly how long it took. John did a beautiful job and was a pleasure to have in my home. Todd came back a couple times during the day to check on progress and help with equipment. They cleaned up every trace of dust and paint and even put back on the light switches and smoke detectors. I could not be happier with the job they did and I look forward to having Woodland Paint back in the future.

Todd and everyone who worked on our home were extremely affable and professional. They did an awesome job in a short period of time. The price was very reasonable and the place looks great!

Went great. They did some wall repairs, sanded, etc and put as many coats of paint on some walls as needed to cover up the old. Prompt, competitive, friendly. Approx 1200 sq ft plus ceilings. Took 1 painter 4.5 days to finish. I highly recommend.

The owner was extremely responsive.  The painters were wonderful and the room was left absolutely spotless when they left for the day.  We would definitely use these guys again the next time we need some painting done.

I selected Woodland Painting based on the reviews I read here. Heath came out to meet me on a Friday and by that following Tuesday, work had begun. And that included a Saturday visit to help us choose colors! The guys were there each day on time and were very helpful and very professionsal. The work was so thorough and transparent you could not even tell they had been there that day, except for the new coat of paint. I was especially impressed with how well the painting was completed where the wall meets the ceiling - you will usually find sloppiness in those areas with sub-par painters. Not with Woodland - every seam and corner was perfect. We were extremely happy with the the job they did and will for sure be calling them in the future, not to mention letting our friends know about their work.

The painting went very well. We had a tight schedule because of several other things that needed to be done before the painting began and after it was completed. Their start date slipped a little a couple of times, partly because of our other work running late and they lost a day or two because of their other projects. Overall they started well within the window we needed. They made several trips to paint small sample strips on the house in order to help us select colors. The crew seem very proficient and professional. They painted everything that should have been and didn't paint anything that shouldn't have been. When they were done the house looked terrific and there was no additional clean-up needed.

Except for some rain, it went very well. Todd was very helpful with picking out the specific stain and color. I also appreciated that he called me and let me know what was going on. The painters always cleaned up after themselves. The house looks beautiful now. I definitely would recommend this company to anyone.

Woodland was the 2nd of 3 bids I received to prepare and paint our 3 level split home. Heath arrived on time as scheduled to view the home and prepare the bid. I found him to be very personable and professional. Their bid, including their Angie's List discount, was almost $800 less than the competitors and using a higher quality Sherwin-Williams paint. I was nervous about getting the job done before bad weather hit in October (as I had started this process very late). And although I called Heath for updates on the timing - he was never impatient and always friendly. Heath painted a couple selections we chose on the garage as a test - which was helpful! His team finished the job in less than 4 days and were always very professional and friendly. The house looks GREAT. They cleaned up after themselves each night. I would highly recommend Woodland!

Todd and the crew were very professional and friendly. Todd was really helpful about choosing colors and kept coming back trying different color samples on the house when I could not make up my mind! The wooden garage door was really damaged by the weather, but they found a way to restore and protect it. It looks wonderful. The friendly crew worked long hours and cleaned up the area everyday. They paid attention to detail and painted the house beautifully. The house looks fantastic. We are hiring Woodland again to do some interior work.

As I stated above, the job absolutely exceeded my expectations and they were priced fairly and the clean-up was exceptionally superb. In fact, the rooms look cleaner now than before they came in the house! I just purchased a new bedroom set from a local retailer and the delivery crew accidentally scraped up the walls with a few nasty scratches and Woodland came back and patched it up and it looks sensational. I even had a small hole on the side of the house and they climbed up a tall ladder, cauked it up and painted this along with a new PVC pipe from my new heating system for a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend Woodland Painting and I am confident they will also meet and exceed your expectations and perform your project in a professional manner and at a price that is very competitive. By the way, I did request to see a copy of their Insurance liability and WORKERS COMP insurance and they provided me with proof of coverage. From past experience, I would not consider hiring a contractor unless they have both types of coverage, because if a worker gets hurt on the job, a homeowner could potentially be liable for damages, even if they say, "it is not your problem." Don't take a chance without seeing a copy of their insurance coverage on BOTH lines of coverage, no matter who you hire!!! In addition, it is a MN law that employees be covered.

It went well. It was a straight forward job. They started when they said they would and finished it on time.

We were planning on painting early spring but project was delayed on our part for instillation of new windows. Todd was incredible to work with. He was very accommodating to our repeated schedule changes and color consultations. He seemed to have an infinite amount of patience and courtesy. The ease of communicating via text with color considerations, schedule changes, and sample colors was great. The painting process itself was painless. Entire crew was respectful and efficient. The house looks fantastic! Would recommend without reservation!

They were punctual. They gave us a thorough estimate which was higher than what we were looking at. As a result we didn?t use them.

The basement is just one big room and they did 2 coats. I don't remember the cost. The work went smooth and there were no issues. My wife picked them to do the job.

I didn't use them. They seemed professional. Their quote was right in there and was very reasonable. I just had someone come a lot lower. I really liked them. They seemed honest. They came right out.

Received 3 quotes and all were about the same, but I decided to go with Woodland Painting. Completed work described. Was responsive to my wishes and concerns. Even though Todd provided a sample of the colors by painting a swatch on our wall I changed my mind about one of the colors the day the painting job started and there was no problem. I was worried about my dog interfering with the painters and they weren't concerned at all. Workers were friendly, efficient and did very good work. I would recommend this company to anybody. I also plan to use them again for the exterior of our house.
