First, I should say that in the end I did NOT have Christians Inc do the repairs to my kitchen ceiling. Also, I was assigned the company through State Farm, as this was an insurance claim. Josh from Christians was very prompt in getting out to my house when State Farm assigned them the project, as well as getting a great plumber out asap to fix the leaking pipe. Unfortunately that is where my satisfaction ended. For the next 4 weeks, Josh set up appointments (day/time) with me but had to cancel each of them and I have a string of emails that spell it all out. Reasons he gave were.. he could not get a hold of his guy, his guy couldn't make it, he needed to reschedule, etc... My project is a very small project, and I understand that there are other clients they are working with and that some jobs spill over into other jobs, but after a month of setting up appointments and then canceling, and after I had rearranged my life/work schedule each time, I was done. I don't really know what the issue was... I was too small a client to pull enough focus, they were just too busy to get me in, etc... I just wish they had told State Farm when they called that they could not take the job, instead of stringing me along. I felt so much confidence at the beginning that all would be taken care of, and that just made this more frustrating... really disappointing. As I said, I chose not to have them do the work so I can not speak to their "product", only to the "process" I experienced. This is my first "negative" review on Angies List... not easy to do, but that is the point of the service.. to give the members the skinny on what our experiences are. This was mine.

Very professional, orderly, easy to work with. Did more than was originally contracted for when they got into the ceilings and wall.After I paid them the deductible, they dealt with the insurance company directly.

They made some shelves for me in my garage and also did some interior painting. Their price was good for what they were going to do. They had good reviews. I got a good impression from the person that came out and worked with me. I felt like they do a good job. Overall, the person that performed the work was careful and listened to my input. He took care not to make a mess and leave it. He was considerate of our home. He did a good job of cleaning up after himself. He also did excellent work. He did cut a corner that I didn't like in terms of the painting. He didn't take down the vent covers to paint and a few switch covers. He just painted around them. Most professional painters do paint. I guess he was in a hurry and didn't do that. He didn't do it on all of them but a few. I was a little concerned about that. That was really my only complaint which was really very small. He came here on time and did the work what he said he would do within the timeframe. Based on the other quotes that I got for the same job, the price was excellent. There were a couple of days where he forgot to let me know the day before that he was going to be taking care of a few things before he got here. He was a little late than expected, but that was okay. I would use them again in the future.

It has gone well. They came recommended through State Farm as this was the result of a claim.

I was very happy with my project manager, Matt, and ALL of the workers that were in my home. They were very polite and professional, did a great job in their individual areas of expertise, and cleaned up really well when they were finished. I was especially happy with the communication with my project manager and how well he stayed on top of the process, and with the quality of work performed. I would use this company again.

They came out really quickly and they are doing the work now. So far, they are under what they quoted us even though they’ve run into snags. They were very honest and upfront during the quote and they gave us suggestions that turned out better than we thought. Everything is working out really well.

They were highly professional. I would recommend them to others. They did a good job. I will definitely use them in the future.

The job was overseen by a project manager from start to finish. They came out to do an estimate and were on time and professional. They worked quickly during the demolition and kept things clean in our house despite the work being done. The project manager kept us apprised of the situation at all times and was up-front about issues that arose during the project. The construction crew was also very good at keeping us updated on progress and issues as well. The work done was of very high quality. They paid attention to detail and worked diligently througout the project. In addition, they went above and beyond what was required. For example, we had drywall that wasn't affected by the sewer backup that was damaged. During the process, they offered to fix it at no additional charge.
