Here's a history of the problems that I've had so far with my HTC EVO, since purchasing it on 9/19/10. 9/17/10 - problems with the audio crackling and breaking-up while talking on the phone. This occurred as speaker and listener. 9/18/10 - A replacement was ordered. I also had the technicians at the Woodbury store try to repair the phone so that I would be able to use it without the audio problem recurring. The "fix" only lasted a couple of hours. 9/19/10 - I came to the store to get the refurbished phone that was ordered. Eric, the consultant, removed the invisible shield protector from the old phone and placed it on the refurbished phone and then setup that phone. The invisible shield was damaged during the setup. It has a life- time guarantee to prevent the phone's display from being scratched or marred. After the setup was complete Eric gave me the phone and I left. I went to the Rosedale shopping center to have the damaged shield replaced. When it was removed I noticed scratches in the display. I immediately returned to your store and advised Eric of the problem. After he examined the phone, and noticed the scratches, he ordered another phoned. Later, while using the phone, I began to experience the same audio problem again. It was also noticed by the party that I was trying to converse with. It appears that we are again on this "merry-go-round" with a HTC phone, which is similar to the problems that I had with my previous phone, the HTC Diamond. After having had seven (7) HTC Diamonds replaced I finally received a new, non-refurbished phone which was problem free for about two years.
