They did a good job. I would rate their job as an A. I would rate their marketing as an F. They tried to get a lot of money out of you. When the guy came here to do the work I wanted him to do, they ran over the house looking for more work to do. That was just unacceptable.

Also, the other heating company told me that one of the valves that a Gen Ryan professional installed is NOT to code in St. Paul/Mpls. This is interesting since Genz Ryan should know the building codes for St. Paul.

We have only been customers with them for a year (signed up for the basic plan), but have been impressed with each contact. The customer service on the phone and the technicians are always friendly and polite. This time the tech was running later than my two hour window, but I received a call letting me know and asking if it was okay for him to come late. (I'm assuming the alternative was to reschedule.) In the fall three furnance components were found functioning below a good level, two of which are common fail items resulting in no heat. We opted to have all three replaced, which the tech was able to do the same day. Prices seem high on the work, but I'm a thrift shopper, so normal prices seem high. It was great to have it done and not worry all winter if we would wake up without heat.
