Prompt and thorough quote. Job was started a day earlier than scheduled. Excellent workmanship and site was left cleaner than when they first arrived.

They did a great job. We needed two brick light posts repaired/replaced and Ben, the owner, came out and went over our options and gave us a prompt bid that was a reasonable price. When we decoded to have them do it the process was so easy and automated that it didn't take any time at all to sign the contract and get the work arranged. They even moved us up on the schedule and had the work done in two days. We replaced the posts, and they look so good that they could have been there since the house was built. The clean up after they had finished was great and they even replaced some of the dirt and added grass seed to the area to cover anything they had to dig up. I highly recommend them for any masonry work you may need.

The Detail Stone crew did an excellent job. The two-tier wall they built along my driveway from natural stone looks excellent. They paid great attention to details. This wall looks much better than the original wall that had partially collapsed. I have already hired them to redo the existing wall on the other side of the driveway.

it went very well. the wall looks terrific. they had to work around driving rain and freezing temps but got it done quickly. communication was outstanding throughout the process. the price was lower than competitors. we are very pleased! would not hesitate to recommend them or use their services again.

Detail Stone did an outstanding job. The stonework was done with skilled workmanship and attention to detail, and the results exceeded my expectations. They were very easy to work with and the clean up for each day and for the end of the project was very thorough. Finally, they were flexible about revising plans to accommodate our needs. We added a patio to the project, but due to a communication error on our part they did not get a firm OK to do the patio until day one of the project for the front steps. But they were able to add in the patio in and still do an excellent job without cutting any corners. As their name implies, they take care of all the little details that make the difference between a good result and a great result.

Scott and his crew were wonderful to work with.  He had many pictures and addresses of his work that we could look at.  We shared our ideas for the look we wanted and he was able to turn that into a reality.  He paid attention to everything we said from the colors of the stone to the curves we wanted.  He arrived when he said he would and was very particular about his work.  The whole crew was great.  Whatever we asked they responded positively.  It turned out absolutely beautiful and I highly recommend Design Stone. 

We needed a new patio and were having trouble decided on material. Scott helped us out by suggesting limestone from Orijen Stone. He brought us samples and it was an immediate no-brainer! Scott, Ben, and Martin operate the way you wish all contractors would operate: diligent, punctual and respectful. Plus they do fantastic work! It's been a couple years and we still love the finished product more each day. We would (and will) have them back in a heartbeat.

it was amazing - the back wall & front steps are like piece of art - they hand picked every stone for both projects and we are thrilled with the outcome & so are our neighbors! Scott explained in detail the process they were going to use and right from the start we were sold! We plan to have them back to coordinate a front retaining wall! Their team is amazing

Scott and his team did a FABULOUS job!  From start to finish, it was low-or-no stress, with simple and easy to understand quotation(s), as well as easy access to products and samples.  Scott provided many references and was extremely professional every step of the way.   We added a few more options, which he and the crew took on without missing a beat. After the job, follow-up was great, and he remained conscientious well after the work was paid for and done.

We couldn't have been happier with the results!  The patio looks great and is quite different than what we originally thought we wanted.  Scott is a patient listener, but then offers suggestions that end up being improvements that we didn't even think to consider.  He is honest and trustworthy.  The crew is always there when they say the will be ... no waiting around for a window of arrival.  

Scott and his crew were very responsive to our ideas and we ended up with a patio we absolutely love.  We spend as many evenings on the patio as we can on summer nights.  It is a great improvement and we LOVE driving by our own yard to take a look at what a difference it made to our back yard.  We would hire Scott and his crew again, in a flash! 

Scott came out and was very detailed in his approach vs. others that I bid. He had rationale for his recommendations down to his recommendation to go with a smooth stone given a neighbor's nearby tree. It was a complicated project that Scott really simplified for us. He worked us in his schedule and his team worked long days to get the project done in a couple of days. We are very happy with the results.

Going back for more! Scott, the owner, is as honest and polite as they get. He pays such attention to his work and double checks that everything is exactly how you asked for it. He goes out of his way to please you. We are getting ready to call him again this week for more projects. Would gladly recommend Detail Stone.

We had Scott and his crew from Detail Stone cover our steps with pavers and replace our sidewalk in front of our house. The quality of the work was impeccable! The workmen were very professional, polite and meticulous. Everything was cleaned up to perfection.  We have had SO many people comment on how beautiful it looks and how greatly it has improved the curb appeal!  Well worth it!  I highly recommend Detail Stone for any job. I rarely write reviews, but these guys are great! BTW, Scott even called us a few weeks after the job and asked it everything was still to our liking--you don't get that service very often!! I will use him again when I have another stonework job.
