+ 4 moreExcellent. Dave Beyer (owner) was in constant communication with us via e-mail (our preferred method). He did some of the work himself (painting, mill work, etc.) and hired subs for the rest. The quality of all of the work is excellent. Everything went very smoothly and Dave made a very strong effort to make sure the project stayed on schedule, which it did, and came in at or under budget, which it did. Dave also had several subs bid on each part of the project to make sure we were getting both the best work and the best price. We were very comfortable having Dave in our home and he was on site frequently throughout the project, even just to check in on things. He was very conscientious throughout the entire project and left our home clean at the end. He even made friends with our dog- not an easy feat!
Description of Work: We hired David Alan Builders to be the contractor for a partial basement finish, including the addition of a completely new bathroom. Entire basement was framed in, new bathroom was added including completely new plumbing, laundry area was moved and framed in/sheet rocked and painted. Asbestos covered pipes were removed and replaced with flexible tube pipes. Remainder of basement is now ready for us (homeowners) to drywall, sheet rock, and put in carpeting.
