We called Marsh to get a quote on a whole new system (ours is 20 yrs old) and Marsh is a Lennox dealer. Dave came out and instead of selling us a new system he quickly replaced the capacitor that had blown. He said that just because the system is 20 years old doesn't mean it needs replacing. I was impressed by this attitude and by the fact that Marsh didn't send a sales guy, but sent a knowledgeable and honest technician.

On the second hottest of the season, my air conditioner stopped blowing cool air. I quickly googled vendors that were in my area and saw Marsh heating and air condition would respond to calls 24 hours a day. What a relief as it was a Sunday! I took a look on Angie's list to see if there were any reviews for this vendor and there were - all very good! So I gave them a call. My call was answered right away and the woman asked me questions about my issue. After she got all of my information she told me that a technician would be calling me soon. About an hour later, Mike called me to see what the problem was. I gave a description and being that I lived in his area he told me he would stop by to see if he could at least determine what the problem was, told me he was about and hour away. Sure enough an hour later Mike appeared at my door and was friendly and very personable. He asked me a few questions about the current status of the AC unit. Once he got the answers he needed, he grabbed some tools and headed to my outside unit to trouble shoot the issue. Within minutes, Mike was able to determine that the capacitor on my unit had stopped working. While he did not have the exact part with him for my brand of unit, he did have a universal part that would work. Although, it was more expensive, it would fix the problem immediately, we would not have to order a part and we would not have to have another technician come to the house. So we proceeded with the universal part and Mike got us up and running again! The total time for this visit was approximately 40 minutes. Thanks to Mike for stopping over late on a Sunday afternoon in 95 degree heat. Thanks to March heating and AC fabulous service. Best Money spent!!!

What a painless experience. All went extremely well from sales pitch to install to cleanup. Sales person was straight forward, quick to tell me what I didn't need to have done, but straight forward in what I did need to have done. Install folks came 2 days later (old furnace was still working). Came exactly on time, finished when they said they would. Install was perfect, brought 3 items up to code, no extra charge. Spotless cleanup. I am very impressed with the total package, and like the furnace a lot.

We considered two companies (AirTech being the other).  We really liked both.  Due to us being Costco members, the rebates we received from Costco really separated Marsh and their Lennox products from the AirTech/Daikin products price-wise a difference of ~$4000.  
Our furnace had been shut down due to a cracked heat exchanger.  Thank God it was the warm few weeks in early Dec.  We were able to get a Marsh crew in here within a few days of their sales rep coming out.  Loving the new furnace, and I'm sure we'll love the air conditioner come summer.  Also excited to see a big cut in our energy bills.
Our housing inspector did note one correction needed when inspecting the air conditioner--the outside hose to the air conditioner now requires a protective wrap to prevent weather-wear (new code in Woodbury in 2015).  Marsh sent someone out within a couple of days to get it taken care of.  
Overall very happy with the value received from Marsh/Costco.

Our house has a whole-house furnace/AC unit and a smaller unit for an addition we put on 14 years ago.  The smaller unit stopped putting out heat on Saturday.After searching through numerous furnace-repair places, we finally chose Marsh because they were responsive, accommodating with their schedule (It is Christmas week), and friendly on the phone.  We were not at all disappointed.
Perry couldn't have been nicer, more efficient, more professional, or more trustworthy.  When I told him that I had replaced the thermostat to see if that was the problem (It wasn't), he said, "you know I have to charge more if your try and fix it yourself."  Big smile.  I knew we would get along great.
In short order he determined the control panel had a few questionable resisters on it and needed to be replaced.  He fortunately had one in his truck--fortunate because Magic-Pak furnaces aren't all that common.  As it turns out, they charge cost for parts, which is great.  
So he replaced that part and finished tuning up that furnace, then went down to the main furnace and tuned that up, too.  He said the carbon monoxide was coming out a little too high, so he turned down the burners a bit, and that fixed it, plus made the burner burn more efficiently.  I recalled seeing several nightmare stories about technicians telling people they needed to replace their furnaces because of high carbon monoxide levels, so I was grateful that he simply made the adjustment.
In short, it was a great experience.  First time we've used them (and while this glowing review might sound fake, I honestly hadn't heard of them until my wife found them on Angie's List) , but it won't be the last.  I'll definitely bring them out every year to do tune-ups from now on.  I'd avoided that in the past because of all the up-selling that goes on.  Great to have a furnace/AC repair service I can trust.

I called Marsh because my air conditioning unit quit working during Labor Day weekend, which was hot and humid. I called the number to request '24 Hour Emergency Service' to repair the air conditioning unit. The answering service took my name/number and would have the on-call technician call me. Within 30 minutes, Dave called and gave me an estimate of the costs. We scheduled an appointment for the next morning. 1 hour after I got off the phone with Dave, my doorbell rang (9:00 p.m.) ---- it's Dave. He was only 1/2 mile from my home when he got my call and decided to drop by to repair the air conditioning unit. I was surprised that someone rang the doorbell at 9:00 at night...and even more (pleasantly) surprised to see that it was someone from Marsh.
I gladly welcomed him and showed him the issue. After 45 minutes, Dave had replaced the capacitor on my air conditioning unit and my family had a comfortable night of sleep.
Even better, I went to bed knowing that great service is still alive and well in our society.

They came out the same morning I called to report my A/C wasnt working right. Showed me the main problem was simply VERY dirty coils on the outdoor unit. Cleaned them off, topped off the freon, and we're good to go.  No up-selling or pestering me to buy a service contract or anything, just plain old fashioned honest repair work. Looking forward to working with them again.

He was not able to check the freon level because it was too cool here. However, he said that if it is not working properly when you need it, let us know -but my air conditioner is working fine and so I think the freon level is fine. I am very pleased with that company.

We were referred to Marsh by Costco last year and have used them for routine maintenance and unexpected repair for our heating and AC systems since. They were able to schedule me for an AC tuneup on the same day (almost unheard of in the summer). The tech thoroughly tested the system, added 1 lb refrigerant (it was 1/2 pound low) and cleaned the outdoor unit.
The main reason we like Marsh is that it's not just a sales pitch. I swear the techs are paid by sales commission at the other places (e.g. Air Mechanical) because at the slightest sign of a problem they're pushing HARD for you to buy a whole new system. Marsh only hires experienced techs that are interested in educating the customer so I can make an informed decision on my own.
I highly recommend this local family-owned business. Their customer service is stellar and their prices are fair.

Marsh Heating and Air Conditioning had been recommended to me by a friend. I contacted them for a bid to replace the furnace in a townhouse that I was preparing to put on the market. Kelly Marsh worked with me directly. He went to the townhouse and wrote up the bid the following day. I was happy to receive it so quickly. I accepted the bid and signed off on them doing the work. Just days later, they installed the new Lennox furnace and hauled the old one away. The replacement job was beautifully done, and my townhouse was so clean that I couldn't even tell that they had been there. I was very pleased with the outcome. I would definitely work with Marsh Heating again.

Marsh was wonderful to deal with. From the quote to the install they answered all of our questions. We got a timeline of 1 month but we were called a week later that they had an opening the next day and it was ours if we wanted it. The installers did a wonderful job and even made an air return bigger and added a vent into the basement. We found them through Costco and the price was very reasonable for a Lennox. The approx cost is after all our rebates.
