We hired Argi Tile to install a heated tile floor on our main floor of our home. He constructed the heating mat then set it in a thin layer of concrete. He then tiles the entire main floor of our home. He left wiithout testing the heat and when we turnd it on we got no heat. He came to our house 3 times, always wanting to charge us for his trip and time. After the third attempt to fix the floor he told us the heating element manufacturer had sold him a defective product. He refused further attempts to try to make the situation right and also told us "This is the fifth house I've had this happen to in the last teo years. There is nothing that can be done." As a laughable solution he instructed us to purchase hardwood flooring, at our own expense, and he would give us a discount to install it. This guy refuses to stand by his work, look further on the internet and you will find many others who felt ripped off by this company. Rjay B. Inver Grove Heights, MN

Argi and his crew did a great job working with some challenging tile. He quoted the job over the phone and, despite the fact that the job ended up taking at least twice as long as he originally estimated (due to some difficulties with the tile that I chose - not his fault!), he stuck with his quote and made sure that the job was completed in one day. The quality of work was excellent, his crew was neat and respectful, and they cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely hire them again for other tiling projects. My "B" rating on punctuality was related to a one hour delay in their arrival time, although they did call to let me know that this was going to happen, which I appreciated. Not a big deal.

Done in 4-5 days, kept to the budget and the job looks GREAT! Have recommended to others who were also thrilled

The job was done extremely well. Argi was very responsive and personable and definitely knew his stuff. The finished products are very nice. The only hiccup happened because of a communication barrier and some bad luck. His plumber had opened a number of faucets to do his work, and though he tried to be sure I knew to shut them off when he was done, his (the plumber's) English was poor and I missed the fact that one of the open faucets was in a downstairs wet bar area that we don't use. This faucet ran unnoticed for some time after he had turned the water back on and...here's the bad luck part...a small piece of plastic was blocking the drain. The sink overflowed and soaked some cardboard boxes that were temporarily on the floor, ruining a number of the books inside. I hesitated to even mention this in my review because overall I was very happy with the work--and would certainly hire them again--but this was a part of the experience.

Argi was very professional when he came to give us the bid and when he had his employees start the job. He came and went over everything the morning they started with them and answered all my questions and explained things to me. He was very knowledgeable. I like that since most businesses send someone out to give the bid but never seem to completely explain the job to the people coming out to do the work. He is employee were very polite and considerate of the house and knew what they were doing. I would hire these guys again and recommend them to anyone who asks.

Argi and team are really impressive. We live in a house that is over 100 years old, so the floors and walls are not completely smooth or straight - but they worked with careful attention and painstaking craftsmanship to do a marvelous job tiling and working with our old plumbing.

Things went very well. I was busy at work at the time so I did not get much of a chance to talk with Argi or the other workers involved, but they all seemed very professional. Argi picked up the tile and even picked up a shower fixture for us. Very nice. My vision of the sitting area in the shower was a tiled box in the back of the shower, however it was a Triangle shelf/seat. I was not really disappointed, but it was just different than I expected. Still very nice. It all look great and we have another bathroom we need remodeled, though not that extensively. I would have no problem contacting Argi for that. If I had to complain about anything I would say the price seemed higher than I expected. But it was certainly in the ballpark of other bids and lower than most. He had a special on Angies for I think $2000 or $2500 to replace a tub with a shower. But that deal was apparently run accidentally. Still, I think we got our money's worth from the deal we got.

It went very well. He started and finished when he said he would. He was very attentive and responsive to all our requests with regard to our project. He is very personable and did good, quality work.

They were unapologetically late all 4 days. Work was to take 2 days. First day he arrived 3 hours late. The best was 1.5 hrs, worst arriving 5pm instead of 9am. Dirty: the drop cloth that was laid down in my house was full of remains of the last job. I noticed this when I saw my dog eating pieces of plaster and broken tile! I asked them to make sure it was clean. Then they shook it out in my yard and landscaping. I have pictures of the tile and various other garbage littering. They left grout on my tub that I had to scrape off later. They swept just a portion of the floor leaving the rest dirty enough to be scrubbed. My carpeting had a black spot. Quality: I was shocked. I couldn't understand why I could get this person from Angies list. I showed him the crooked tiles, extending over the edge of the wall in a unsightly and dangerous manner. I have pictures of the gaps in the corners. Nothing was even or matched up with the other tile. I expected a straightforward replacement of 4in while tile just as before. Then he took most out. He told me that he would explain his plan before implementation. This was very important because it had been so poorly done first try. However he did not do as he said. The final job is better but not as a professional would do. The new tile lines do not match with the ones they are next to. The tiles are not straight as before. He avoided cutting to match so all tiles are higher and stick out above the wall it meets. Basically cutting corners and sloppy work. My inspector found many deficiencies including the materials. Cost: As he left late on the 4th day he threatened to charge for all the extra materials. He kept saying I will get a bill and pay! The contract covered materials except a board that was extra. I should not have to pay for his mistakes and the extra supplies he had to buy to re-tile. I have not received a bill at this point. I will add on information if he does give me trouble. I should actually be discounted for the work done. I don't want to go through having him in my house again. The wallpaper above the tile is damaged also and makes a redo difficult.

The process was extremely easy thanks to Argi's responsiveness. Within one week of him coming by to give me an estimate we were able to schedule the job and get it done within 48 hours of starting. My floors look great and the baseboard install turned out perfectly. My vanity and sink are also working in top condition and my bathroom looks wonderful. I'll definitely use Argi and his team again in the future.

Argi was very friendly and helpful throughout the remodel experience. He did an excellent job; after the job was completed, we had a problem with the shower head and he sent someone to take care of it right away at no extra charge.

Argi Tile, LLC was the answer to my prayers! We attempted a DIY that became a bit more than we could handle. We received a call back about our inquiry on Monday, met with Argi on Tuesday, and the project was completed on Friday!! Argi and his family are attentive, professional, and all around great people! They worked with me on a budget and I could not be more pleased with how the finished product looks. No matter the project size, Argi tile is the best choice for tile work in the twin cities!
