Excellent. Mike was very professional and arrived on time. He cleaned up his mess. Our fireplaces work just like new and look gorgeous! I recommend LSI (This Is It Shop) for fireplace repairs and maintenance.

The job went great. We had the job scheduled for a friday. The night before my wife wasn't doing very well and I had to take her to the ER. We were there all friday. They still came and did a great job hooking the unit up! No problems. It's not been in for a few weeks and I love it. We haven't turned are furnace on yet!

A contractor, not affiliated with the company, came to install the fireplace. This was never mentioned to me throughout any of the communication prior to the installation date. Mind you, the installation of the unit involed cutting a pre-exisitng wood frame mantel which the contractor did any awesome job with. However, he knew nothing about the workings of the fireplace and when he was finished, we were missing a log, the unit smelled of gas, and half of the fireplace was not working. In addition, he was at our house for 6 hours! I immediately called the company and told them about the issues we were having. I also told them I was holding the final payment until all of the bugs had been resolved. The next day, the owner of the company came to the house and spent another two hours fixing the fireplace....and the gas leak. I understand there are problems that sometimes arise during the course of installations, but throughout the whole process, not once did the owner ever apolgize for the inconvenience or offer a discount! I will not be using this company again.

"We were very surprised to see this negative report from this customer, sure there was some complications from the installation, but I always tell my customers not to pay unless they are 100% satisfied. In fact I even gave the check back to the customer until everything was complete. I had even gone to their home myself and repaired an electrical problem for them that had nothing to do with anything that we had done. After everything was complete I asked if they were 100% satisfied and the answer was YES from at least one of the ladies (the only one of the two that was home at the time of completion). At that time she gave me the payment for the completion of the Job. I didn't here anything about any complaints after that day until I had scene this on Angie's List. Darin LeTourneau Owner."

Everything was professionally installed and we really love the finished product. The installers were extremely friendly. They were very careful not to get the floors and furniture dirty and put down drop clothes and cardboard to protect all of our stuff. They were a little late, but we knew we were the second job of the day (clearly communicated beforehand), so we were around the house in the afternoon anyway, so I rated them an A for punctuality. They were willing to work the weekend, and had to do the chimney liner in quite a snowstorm!

Charged me $90 - $coupon = $75 to walk in for 5 minutes and tell me I needed two new inserts (which they conveniently sell) - had a bad valve and light one fireplace that went out as 5 minutes after he left. I did not rate the quality because there was no work to judge him on. I was definitely left with the impression of a service person who would take advantage of a female who has a gas fireplace for this first time!

"I am the owner of This Is It Shop, I personally was on this service call, when I arrived at the home (within the time period that was scheduled) the customer immediately informed me that her parents were arriving into the Airport early and that she had to leave soon. I explained what needed to be done with her fireplaces to either repair or replace and she didn't even have the time to do the repairs. She only wanted the pilot light lit and show her how to turn it on. When I was leaving she was literally pulling out of the driveway in her car. So I believe because she was pressed for time I wasn't able to provide the quality service that we like to provide. Mike was excellent. He even took off his shoes without asking whenever he was in the house! He was neat and clean and worked quickly. I liked his suggestion and brochure about saving energy with a fireplace damper and am also having him come back to install it. From the first call to the company to the work completed at our home, the process was very smooth. Very professional and knowledgable and it was a pleasure having him in our home.

Smoothly. Make sure to have model numbers and as many part numbers and descriptions as possible. It made rebuilding my old Duchane gas grill a breeze. (12yrs old)

Great! They tried to fix the valve and it didn’t work, so they offered to fix it again for free. Because our grill was so old we decided to just buy a new one. They came out right away to install the new grill, and they did a great job. I would definitely consider them in the future.

Arrived on time, accurately diagnosed the problem and effectively repaired it. I thought the mechanism may need replacement, however a thorough cleaning was suggested and that fixed the problem. Also provided me with a tool for emergency shutoff of the gas in case of a problem. Initially I had felt that their charges were too high, but after shopping around I realize that they quite reasonable.

Quality work - used multiple drops to prevent damage or soiling. Serviceman was knowledgeable and punctual. Suggest replacement rather than repair initially, for no specific reason other than the fact that fireplace was "old." Expensive.
