MICHIGAN CLIMATE SYSTEMS

Our a/c went out on pretty hot day. Since unit was only a couple of years old, I went to the Heil website for service. Our nephew installed it professionally but he lives in Illinois. Michigan Climate Systems was the closest company listed, so I called them. Dale returned my phone call within twenty minutes and we discussed the problem. He said he was busy with other customers, but he could come by later in the day. We talked a little more, and he explained that I might be able to fix it myself. Dale told me if I was comfortable with killing the power to the a/c with the outside breaker, which I was, I could take the two fuses and have them checked to see if they were bad. He made it clear that if I had any reservations about touching the breaker that i should wait until he got there. If they were bad, I just needed to replace them from any hardware store. He told me to call him if I still needed him to stop by. It turns out one the fuses was bad, I replaced it, and by lunchtime our a/c was back - at a cost of $12.00. Before I could call Dale to tell him it worked, he called me to see if it worked out. He also gave me other good advice, and was quite honest and open about the best way to handle HVAC repairs and service calls. He is very knowledgeable, and is willing to take the time to explain things. If we ever need service on our system, he will be who I call, without a doubt.

Mr. Dunn was knowledgeable, prompt, neat, and polite. I had questions about installing the A/C on the side of the house instead of the back, wiring the A/C to get the interruptible rate, and pumping the condensate along the basement ceiling over to the sump pump in the corner. He had answers for all my questions with supporting facts and saved me from spending more than I had to. His work passed the city inspection with no trouble at all. My basement was cleaner when he left than when he started. I didn't have to do any clean-up at all.
