GARDNER-WHITE FURNITURE

We special ordered furniture from this company. We were told the furniture was manufactured in the U.S. and would be delivered in eight weeks close to the end of July. We ended up getting it in the middle of September and were told it was because of delays in China. We ordered the furniture protection. When I received the furniture I placed a few drops of water on it and it soaked right in. I called customer service and was told that was possible due to the type of fabric. I sprayed one of the pillows with Scotchgard and waited 24 hrs for it to dry. The water beaded up on the fabric with the Scotchgard on it. Called customer service back and the response I got was what did it matter the warranty was still good if the fabric ever got stained. If you read the warranty it states that they will only replace the piece of the sofa if they can't get the stain out and aren't responsible if the fabric doesn't match. I spoke with a manager the next day who tried line where different fabrics might still soak in water after being treated. I told him that I sprayed Scotchgard on one pillow to prove that I didn't get the fabric protection that I had paid for and he gave me a credit back for the fabric protection.
