 + -1 moreHE CAME ON THE DAY HE STATED. HE COMPLETED THE JOB AND EXPLAINED HOW EVERYTHING WORKED. HE CLEANED UP AND HAULED OLD FURANCE AND OLD A/C AWAY. FEEL SAFE WITH NEW FUNACE BECAUSE HEAT EXCHANGER WAS CRACKED IN THE OLD ONE AND THIS ONE SHOULD ALSO SAVE US SOME MONEY ON OUR GAS BILL.

 + -1 moreTold us what would happen, what we needed to do for his access, he was on time and cleaned up afterward and made sure everything was registered for warranty work. Just what we wanted.
Description of Work: Asked Marty to do a furnace cleaning and checkup on an 18 year old furnace we had. We have had repair calls over the past few years through consumers Energy Service Plan. It also ended last heating season having start up problems. Marty came out the next Saturday morning and walked us through what we had thought may be possible, rust inside unit and then carbon monoxide testing that was way over the limit. Bought and had installed a new Goodwin high efficiency 90,000 btu variable speed furnace. He added an outdoor air intake w/ baffle and a new thermostat. The furnace is a lot quieter than the previous one. Since Marty's furnace price was so much lower than a quote we got through Costco, we asked about replacing our AC unit which we also had work done on each of the past 2 years. It is also much quieter than the one it replaced but we will have to wait until next year to see how it works. Marty included a preseason check on it for next year. We also decided to have the water heater replaced since it was also 18 years old and rusting at the bottom. Installation would have been done in a day but it was raining out side and they couldn't do some welding that needed to be done in the rain. We scheduled it to meet my calendar and he arrived on time again.

 + 0 moreMoved into home that has two air units and condensers one for upstairs and one for down. Unfortunately they were removed before moving in. Called several different companies for estimates with a wait from 1- 5 days for estimate. Prices ranged from $7,000.00 - 5,000.00 with a 2-7 day wait for installation. Called Marty Brown and he came out the same day. He was very kind and explained what I needed and didn't need. He replaced the first unit the very next day and the second two days later. Received one 3 ton 13 seer unit and one 2 1/2 ton 13 seer Carrier units and condensers which is the size and make that was originally in the house. New platforms for the units to sit on outside and copper tubing blowout to make sure there is no debris in tubing, new whips, evaporators and repalced pads for $3550.00. He has a one year warranty on his work and ten year on air units. Very pleased. Air works great. Keeping cool!

 + -1 moreI work for a property management company and one of our home owner's tenants called with a concern about the air conditioner in the home. Sure enough, it needed to be replaced. I called several different a/c companies and received multiple estimates. The home required a 2.5 ton a/c. I received quotes as high as $2600---ridiculous. Needless to say, Brown Mechanical was the best price I found. Marty, the owner, was great. He met me at the property the next day, gave me an estimate and was there the next morning, ahead of schedule, and got the work done promptly. They were very neat and cleaned up after themselves well and he gave me all the warranty and documentation for the a/c unit. I would definitely recommend him and we will use him again when the need arises. Thank you Marty.
Description of Work: Marty and his team came to the property and took measurements to determine the proper product needed, removed and disposed of the old air conditioner in our home owner's rental property and replaced it with a new a/c unit. They also installed a new base pad for the unit and cleaned up well after themselves.

 + -1 moreMarty was great. he showed up on-time, on short notice, was easy to talk to and spoke in clear language that made the whole process a lot easier than I expected. He got our furnace up and running again in less than an hour on a cold day. He inspected the entire system, in and out of the house. Professional, courteous, honest - a pleasure to work with.
Description of Work: Diagnosed and repaired our furnace, cleaned the furnace venting pipes. Marty was very detailed, explained every step and even provided tips on how to improve performance through routine maintenance.

 + -1 moreMarty came out as promised to check out our old furnace. He was prompt and arrived at the agreed upon time. He was professional and took the time to explain all our options. I would highly recommend him. He is honest and does quality work. He was also very respectful of our home and property. He worked efficiently and cleaned up when he finished.
Description of Work: Marty Brown of Brown Mechanical replaced our furnace, humidifier and thermostat.
