Had an iPhone that was charging in the bathroom. It got splashed, sat overnight, and managed to soak up some water. Symptoms included improper charging and screen distortion. Tried putting the phone in desiccant for several days to no avail.
Enter The Pod Drop. Dropped off the phone at lunch and spoke to the tech about the the problems that I was experiencing. Was informed up front about pricing ($29 + tax) to open the phone, clean it up internally, and diagnose the problem. I received a call a few hours later that the initial work was complete. I was asked if I would like them to replace the backlight to take care of the distortion problem for an additional $30. I agreed and about 1 hour later, they called me back and let me know the work was complete.
The phone is now working normally with no display problems. I would use this shop again as well as recommend them to a friend.
