Mackinaw Metal Sales

First of all, the provider started my 'small' roof' and even tore the peak off my roof, then left and went out of town for 4 days, leaving my house to sit like that, until he got back & started back to work.  I don't need to mention to anyone who lives in this area, that it rains a LOT this time of year, so when this provider came back to start working on my roof again, they had to figure out how to get the water out of the U-shaped area all along the peak of my roof, before they could continue putting on the roof itself.  Also, there apparently he was not sent enough of the 'metal' to finish the peak above my front door, so it is kinda 'bobbled' together.  He "says" that when he gets his next shipment of metal, he is going to get the corrrect size piece needed to fix this eye-sore, but after having to ask for an 'itemized' bill & discovering just HOW RIDICULOUSLY HIGH the amount I was charged for labor, I'm very doubtful that that part of my roof will ever get repaired correctly.  The labor I was charged to put this metal roof on, was almost as much as the roof itself!!  The matierials for my roof, (As was stated in the itemized statement, which I FINALLY got yesterday) was about $2758.00 (my house is very small) the labor was over $1900.00!! RIDICULOUS!  I made the mistake of 'assuming' that all Amish folks were very honest folks.  In this case, all the other Amish folks I've met in Engadine, ARE very honest & willing to go out of their wey to help out.  But there can be a bad apple, no matter what the buhch is, & this is no exception.  So BUYER BEWARE!!  PLEASE take my advice & check around, REALLY WELL and THINK IT OVER REALLY WELL BEFORE YOU HIRE THIS PERSON!!  Save yourself. not only a LOT of money, but a lot of heartache & hassle as well!!
