It went great. It was excellent. Their estimate was close to $1000 and they were well under what they estimated. They did a fantastic job. The only issue I had was that they showed up and did it. We really didn't make an appointment. That was a little bit of a concern. When it was all said and done, they did a good job. It just came to my surprise that when I came home, my trees were trimmed and there was a bill on my door. That was a little bit weird.

The staff is very knowledgeable, professional and polite. They showed up on time. They explained what they were going to do. They answered all my questions and did a beautiful job with the apple tree. The yard was promptly cleaned up.

They are honest and tell you exactly what you need, but they listen to your needs too. We love shade around the patio and they're very careful not to cut the lower branches too much so that we have privacy and shade. They let you know when they're going to come and do an estimate and they're fair priced for the area.

They're professional and they actually have the training. They're experts in their field.

They were prompt, courteous and very efficient. I have used them in the past and will continue to use them.

I remember, it was a very good price that's why we went with them, but they seemed overwhelmed it was like they did not expect the beginning this amount of people and they really seemed overwhelmed. I would say they did a good job, I recommended these two guys to a another group, another neighbor of ours and they couldn't get them a return call, I think they got too much business. For the work they did for us, it was good, for the actual work, they did a great job, its just that they did not complete the job and never contacted us and I'm very disappointed with that. The total job was the whole job and they didn't do the whole job, it took us a long time to make them come out, they didn't come out right away but I had no problems with their professionalism.

Very professional, and expertise is 2nd to none

OK, but I decided to renew my contract with my former service. The evergreen tree treatment does not appear to have worked. The fertilization did not produce remarkable improvement. The core aeration was not satisfactory.

Rachel is our technician and she is great. All the staff is professional and have given us good advice when problems arise.

They did a great job! It took two days. Midway through they left the yard and back driveway area in great shape even though remnants of the job were all around as it was a big job . You could tell they cared about not being too disruptive. Upon arriving home from work in the evening after day 2 it was like they were never there except for the two missing trees. It was a perfect cleanup. They did everything they contracted for and more. The whole operation was very professional from start finish; from the sales call, subsequent bid, all the hard work performed, and the cleanup. I was initially a bit concerned as the trees were so close to the house but they pulled it off without a hitch. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

They answered the phone when I called and were flexible in setting a time for the estimate. They suggested I not remove a second tree and prune it instead, so they're certainly not trying to do unnecessary work. After I accepted the proposal, they came out about 3 weeks later and did the job. We weren't home, but our next door neighbor made a point of telling us how polite and professional they were. Everything looks great and they cleaned up completely. I'm very happy.

They are timely, responsive and professional.

It took a while to get them out here. The appraiser on the job, was ill and took several weeks to get out here and give an estimate. Then, it took about another month for the crew to arrive to do the work, because I wasn't the only one in the region having tree work done . They did a nice, clean job and removed all of their cuttings, wood and debris. No complaints at all and I would recommend them and the price was reasonable.

Office customer service was friendly but I needed a approximate date for removal service. I was told many times that someone would call me back. No calls for about a month. The last time I called, the service guys were right at the front door. I was considering calling a different company to do the work. Glad I was patient enough to wait.

Always goes well. They have done all our tree work for years. Cary is the company representative who always comes out to do our quotes and is a great guy, in fact all the employees seem knowledgeable and friendly. Haven't found the need to go elsewhere.

CALLED TO GET AN ESTIMATE ON SPRAYING MY TREES. AFTER A WEEK OF NOT HEARING ANYTHING I CALLED. THE LADY SAID THE GENTLEMAN WAS BUSY TRAINING. I TOLD HER IT WAS GETTING CLOSE TO SPRAYING TIME AND I NEEDED AN ESTIMATE, BECAUSE OTHER PEOPLE WERE WAITING ON ME. SHE SAID SHE WOULD TELL THE PERSON IN CHARGE. NOW IT IS A WEEK LATER AND I STILL HAVE NO ESTIMATE, AND NO PHONE CALL. I HAVE A LOT OF TREES AND SPEND A LOT OF MONEY EACH YEAR ON SPRAYING. THIS IS NOT A WAY TO DO BUSINESS.

We needed a couple large trees trimmed and several shrubs removed (with stump removal). I called them on a Wednesday asking for an estimate and was told they would call by that Friday to arrange it. I didn't hear from them until a week later (turns out, I should have taken the hint). When the arborist did come for the estimate, he was friendly and seemed knowledgable. Their price was right, so we decided to hire them for the job. As instructed, I called the arborist to let him know. He didn't call back. A few days later I called their office and they said someone would call back, but no one did. I called their office again and within a day the arborist called and left me a message. In response, I sent in a signed copy of the estimate so we could schedule the work. But, alas, I heard from no one. So I called the office again...still nothing. As I was preparing to have someone else do the work, Mike's called out of the blue and told me they would be here in two days. By that time we were already behind schedule and I didn't want to wait, so I went with it. Their crew was on time and pleasant. For the most part they did a good job and they left our property reasonably clean. The crew left without saying a word. When I went outside, I was disappointed to find that a couple stumps were not removed; at the time of the estimate I specifically told the arborist I needed stumps ground for two of the shrubs they would be removing. He seemed to understand why I needed the stump grinding and he told me they would take care of it. But, this issue was really my fault. The fine print on their estimate said stump grinding was not included unless specifically listed in the estimate, which it wasn't. I took the arborist at his word and didn't read the fine print, but this is not the kind of company you take at their word. The worst part of this experience was that their office staff wasn't even friendly about the situation when I was calling to schedule the work. I was frustrated with this company's unresponsiveness, but tried not to show it when I called (stuff happens, so I was trying to give them a chance). But they acted as if I were an annoyance.

Execution was wonderful - trees were beautifully trimmed, balanced and open. The yard was nearly spotless - the only evidence was a bit of sawdust in the grass. It did take some time to get the work quoted, organized, scheduled. But the proposal was clear, and the project was executed perfectly. The price was a premium over another bid, but I am more than satisfied with the investment.

They are pretty good and I have used them a lot. They are one of the largest tree companies in the area. They are real reliable, do a good job and I have never had a bad experience with them.

After having the septic field in my yard moved last fall, it was necessary to do some major landscaping renovation. As part of the process, Adam from Mike's Tree recommended removing the 4 old black locust trees, which I had been concerned about for some time. They also removed a spruce which would have been irreparably damaged by the septic work. Once I approved the work, they talked with me about timing. Since this was the first step before a lot of other work could be done, they moved me up in the schedule to get the work done before the rainy weekend. They showed up on time, talked with me about the specifics of what they would be doing, they got to work. They clearly knew what they were doing every step of the way. Those trees dropped exactly where they were meant to go. If the trees weren't so obviously missing, I would never know they'd been here. Absolutely perfect cleanup. They even hand-raked the lawn to remove any wood chips, and swept the driveway. And throughout, they were courteous and professional. And very polite to this nosy homeowner!

They were reliable. They do a good job.

What stands out about them is that they are cheap. They just do the job and they are cheaper than others, and that is why I continue to use them.

Contacted Mike's Tree Surgeons and in a couple of days was called and then visited by an Arborist - Gary. Gary was very punctual and explained the best services to be performed. Gary and his crew actually came out a week earlier than expected and completed the job is "exceptional" fashion. Mike's Tree Surgeons is a top-notch company and Gary and his crew are truly professionals. I would highly recommend them.

It went great. The trees were trimmed just the way I specified. And the cleanup was excellent. They're a little pricey, but do a much better job than anyone else ever has for me.
