Another very good experience with this company. Rick came out and provided a ten circuit manual transfer panel, all wiring, and plug in my garage for hook up of a portable generator. They also provided the portable generator (Generac GP7500) which they assembled and walked me through how to use.  This was the 2nd time I used Joe Pizik in the last year and it's great to know that I have a very reliable and professional source for electrical work. Would highly recommend Joe Pizik!

After a couple of phone calls back and forth to get everything set up - the day for the service was planned.  That day came and went and they never showed up and they never called.  I wasn't immediately aware of this because I was out of town traveling.  I called them about 1 week after they were supposed to show and it was like starting over again.  There was no knowledge of who we were or what we had called for originally.

I gave them an A for responsiveness.  When we originally spoke - that all went pretty well.  After that - it's all F's because they never showed and never called.

After speaking to Joe his perception is that the service request was to troubleshoot and not to perform an estimate although he acknowledged that due the extreme amount of work the estimate was never sent. Joe was more concerned on justifying the minimum charge while the real issue was that I requested an estimate that was never submitted. If this company is extremely busy then my expectation would be to turn down the job as soon as they became aware of the scope whether this became clear at the time of order or when the technician arrived and became aware of my specific request, there is absolutely no value to invest in a consultation when the company is unable to provide an estimate. Joe provided a partial reimbursement but he missed the opportunity to perform a service recovery.

Returning calls was a problem but Brian more than made up for this. I was expecting a quote and then a return visit for this work but he did everything at once and now I can move forward with my remodel.

Brian from Joe Pizik Electric called when he was on his way to my home.  He arrived shortly thereafter at the exact scheduled time.  Brian was excellent.  He quickly got to work and wired everything for me.  I was very pleased with the service and work product I received, plus the price was great.  Thank you very much!  I highly recommend that you call Joe Pizik Electric for your electrical needs.

The electrician Ryan, responded to my call within 45 minutes of my contact. He conducted troubleshooting and isolated the failure quickly and repaired. All work done in an hour. We requested a quote for future electrical upgrades in this old home and we will have this company out again. Based on my experience, I highly recommend Joe Pizik Electric.

Rick is great , arrived 30 minutes early,completed the job in 45 minutes.I had 15 minutes remaining on my first hour and he asked if there was anything else I needed done. Cleaned up everything. 10% senior discount was honored bringing my 175.00 estimate down. He also replaced a switch and charged me only $2.50 for a new switch. Great guy to talk to, he seems to enjoy his work. This is how a business should be run.

Very understanding of my concerns Prompt and very polite, When asked if they could give me a price on installing new panel box Rick said No Problem,Quote was as low as the company's that say its on Sale. Will Definitely be using this company Again !!!!!

Appointment was set up for estimate and Joe was prompt and very courteous . He explained what needed to be done in great detail and how it would operate.
Electrician installed the required electrical equipment, hooked up the generator and demonstrated how to switch over from DTE to generator power.  Very thorough; very thoughtful; very friendly.

Never responded to my request for a quote.  Went very bad !!!

The electrician came out and accessed my needs.  He recommended a different motion sensor than the one I had purchased.  I ended up purchasing another model that he recommend, which had a 5-year warranty.  The price was considerably more but worth it. He returned the next day and completed the garage door outlet and motion sensor light. 
The original electrician was supposed to return when he got the parts to remount my outdoor light fixture.  However, he left the company.  Once I notified the company they promptly sent our another electrician who came out and finished the job. 
My overall experience was good.  Their prices are fair and they stand behind their work.  I recommend this company and would use them again. 

The company called the day before the appointment to give a time frame for arrival of the electrician and left a message. I called back to request an extra half hour as I had to take my car in that morning and they were very accommodating. The electrician who came, Rick, was on time, courteous, and informative. The jobs were done well and for 30%  of the cost of the estimate given to me by another company that I have dealt with in the past. Overall an excellent experience.

Power was taken out by a downed tree and we were looking for quick turn around service.  I called this company at 3:20pm on a Thursday afternoon.  Donny answered the phone and impatiently told me me they closed at 4pm and he would have to, "charge emergency service rates."  When I told him that I would continue to look for someone else to do the work, he asked, 'well - don't you even want to know what the rates are?"  He quoted $200 for the first hour and $100 per hour after that.  I think that price is a little exorbitant - especially for an Angie's List contractor.  I will not use nor will I ever refer Joe Pizik Electric.

I had three small electrical jobs that needed to be done.  The electrician was very efficient and took care of everything quickly.  He even came up with a creative solution to bypass an old rotted wire in the basement.   I am pleased. 

Left message and received call back the next morning. I explained some of the problems I have with circuit breaker tripping with heavy usage. Rick came 2 days later. Checked the outlets and hall light that were not working. Replaced wall socket with loose wire that was causing the problem. Added new GFI plugs in bathroom and kitchen and put in 2 new circuit breakers to take some of the load off.  I explained that I was on a fixed income and he explained different options. He answered all my questions and made sure I knew exactly what he was doing. I would not hesitate to use this company again in the future.

I have used this company several times before this, and have always been very happy with the work their electricians perform.  We have an older home, built in early 70s, apparently builders didn't like installing ceiling lights or hallway plugs back then, so we seem to always have a need for an electrician.  The electricians JP sent us are efficient and professional, and never any issues or drama when using them.  I especially recommend Henry, he was the first electrician we had sent to us from JP, and now we always request him if it works out for our schedule.

Because I did not have the wall sconces to complete the job when Joe Pizik Electric, Inc. was out in the fall, a second trip to my home was necessary.  In the fall, they had installed the electrical for the wall sconces in the living room.  And because I needed to change out a rather large chandelier for a new one in the foyer, it would necessitate two men to complete the job.
I was told prior to making the second appointment how much the charge would be for two men per hour and each additional half hour, if necessary.  Henry and Mitch came to my home promptly as scheduled.  Henry had called enroute to give me a heads-up as to their estimated time of arrival.  Henry and Mitch behaved in a very professional, respectful and courteous manner in my home and wore booties over their shoes.  And, they were dressed appropriately as well.  They brought all the tools, drop cloths, etc., that they would need to do the job and to protect my floors.  Any and all debris was cleaned up, etc.  They completed the installation of the wall sconces and the chandlier in 1-1/2 hours as had been anticipated.
I would not hesitate to hire them again to do further repairs and/or projects in my home.

It was Saturday, and we were without power as I had turned off the circuit breaker due to a sparking plug that overheated a wire.  I left a message stating that we were without power.  It was cold outside and getting cold inside.  The owner sent someone over to take care of the repair.  We paid a higher rate because it was the weekend.  When the repair extended into the second hour, and we would be charged for the full second hour, he looked around and productively repaired other needs while he was on the clock.  As the second hour drew to a close, he suggested we call and make an appointment for a weekday to make other non-essential repairs and upgrades to our electrical, which would cost less at the week day rate.  I highly recommend this company.

The electrician arrived at the day and time as scheduled and got to work right away the first outlet went smoothly the second outlet needed some work to deal with some old wires but everything went very well.  Just to let you know all this was done during a rain and snow shower and cold temps I was very impressed with the service.
