They were excellent. They came in high on their quote but they came with a reputable company. I would consider using them.

A COMPLETE WASTE OF TWO MONTHS TIME.

The sales rep we met with was great. He was prompt gave us a clear quote and not a "big song and dance sales pitch". When there were some revisions to the estimate after specific tradesmen were consulted, again our sales person dealt with us fairly and in a respectful, straightforward manner. The job coordinator was terrific. He let us know where things where each step of the way, always gave us a call to let us know when someone was coming out and followed up to make sure we were satisfied and if we had any questions or concerns. I can't say their price was the best, it was competitive but we did get lower quotes. But theirs was the company in which we had the greatest confidence. We also had quotes from Hanson's and 1st Choice.

We were very satisfied. The price was very fair. They were very nice fellows.

Their professionalism was good. However, they were overcharging and they were trying to do more work than what I had requested. In other words, I just needed some drywalling and they wanted to redo the whole kitchen. They came out to give the quote sometime in December.

First an estimator came out. Then supervisor confirmed work to be done. Electrician came with only a couple hours head notice. The work was well done and above our expectations but he did not clean up well. We found some staples, sawdust, and wire tips on the floor.

First person came out for estimate. Supervisor came another day to confirm; we gave him a key and were told it may be two weeks before work would start. The carpenter came without head notice and we were not able move our belongings out of the way. He was polite and thorough with the work but did not clean up well. When we came home, we found saw dust, carpet, and padding remnants on the bed and furniture. We notified the supervisor of mess and a mark on the wall. The carpenter came back and cleaned up but the mark on the wall was poorly repaired. We were pleased with the work but they should have let us know at least a day or so ahead of time when they planned on coming to do the work. Note to Customers: Make sure you request notification before job start date and insist they clean up after the job is completed.

We had a very good experience with everyone involved on our job. All the subcontractors were professional and courteous, arrived when they said they would, etc. The work was all done to the highest standards, and we would definitely hire them again. The reason for the C rating on price is that they had to make a significant adjustment on the price after their painter came and looked over the job. I think this could have been avoided if the person who did the initial estimate had taken the time to walk around the house to judge how much work actually needed to be done. Instead, he just tossed out "$1,000 allowance for painting". (But I have to take partial responsibility for this, because I should have insisted he walk around to take a look before agreeing to that number.) But as I said, overall we had a very good experience with them and would use them again.

They were on time and finished on time. They used quality wood, workmanship was high quality and they did such a good job and no complaints.

It was a horror. It took weeks to get the woodworking completed and now I need to have the doors remounted because the work was so shoddy.

Very well. They made two trips to the house to perform the estimate and detail the work. I was impressed by the low cost. The windows, though not "brand name" are of good quality. They matched the existing window frame color and the wooden molding style exactly. They arrived on the day and time promised. They were friendly and courteous. The two workers completed the job in one day. Their work was so careful that I had no interior drywall damage, and did not have to repaint the walls. The cleanup was excellent. They came in on budget. While on site, they provided advise on future home improvements. I'd say I am very happy with them, and will consider them for upcoming hardwood floor installation.

I found them on Angie's list as well. I was not happy with this company, because it took them a month to finally get back to me on how much everything would cost. When they did finally call us back they were rude and lied to us by saying that they had tried a number of times to get a hold of us. There were never any messages left. They also told us that the rate would be way more then any other company had told us. I don't remember exactly how much it was but it was double what everyone else was saying.

The first person who contacted us came out and got our ideas on what we wanted and gave us a quote for the job. The second person out was an architect who took pictures of the existing deck and then drew up plans for what he "thought" we wanted. We had to argue about leaving in the railings as they wanted to take them off. We persisted and the railings stayed with some creative work by the carpenter. The carpenter, Dave, was fantastic in listening to what we wanted and doing some creative work to accomplish the job. When the door was delivered, they had hinged it on the wrong side so it had to go back for reworking, other than that, most things were on schedule. The total job took about four weeks, but we had only the one carpenter on the job. He was fantastic, though, and really easy to get along with.

I was really happy with the work that they did. They removed the old laminate that was on the floor as it was old and been there a while so it was tough to get up. I am really happy with the outcome and I think the floor looks so much better.

THEY WERE PUNCTUAL AND PROFESSIONAL. HE TOOK DOWN THE SIZE OF WHAT I WANTED AND TOOK DOWN THE LENGTH OF THE WALKWAY FROM THE FRONT TO THE BACK OF THE HOUSE. HE CALLED BACK WITH A TOTAL COST AND THE COST WAS WAY TO HIGH.

Instead of cutting the carpeting at the seam as agreed, Zibby drilled a hole in the carpet and sprayed a foam window sealant into the hole to fill the concrete crack. This was done without asking if it was OK. The result was a hole in the carpeting that was stained yellow from the foam, and an uneven surface where the crack was filled with hardened foam. They came back out a few days later and managed to get rid of the yellow stain, but filled the hole with glue and carpet threads, leaving a hard "knot" in the carpeting where the hole is. It is impossible to tell if the entire crack was filled because the carpeting never was pulled back. When we complained, they offered to cut the carpeting at the seam as originally promised, but said the seam would be very noticeable and not look good. That's why they drilled the hole, they said. In other words, they knew they couldn't do a good job, but took the job anyway. They knocked $100 off, but now we have to hire someone else to do it right.

The job was supposed to take 2 days, but took more than a week and a half as they had to come back several times to fix their mistakes. For example, the bedroom repairs were done sloppily, and you could tell they painted the ceiling before allowing the joint compound to fully dry, so they had to come back two more days to fix it. They also left the living room ceiling repair area unsanded and unpainted, and when it was pointed out to Zibby, he offered to leave behind some paint so I could finish the job. I balked and told him he needed to come back and do it, which he did. Once all was finally done, the drywall work and paint looked good, but it was far from the quick and professional job we were promised. The quality of the work was satisfactory, but took way too long and was a big headache.

What a wonderful experience. Very prompt in doing the estimate and I signed the contract the same day. The super intendant came out and went over the plans. All was satisfactory and we set a date for the work to be done. Scott, the carpenter was very punctual. He put drop cloths down from the front door to the room he was working in. He had no problem doing the job and he did it very well. I am 100% satisfied and will definitely hire them again.

It appeared to me that my job was too insignificant for an on-site estimate which would have revealed no dampness behind the tileboard. I have contracted to have the job done for $650.

Because of the quality of the work for this small job, I asked for an estimate on adding a 16X16 addition to out two-story house. The detailed plan was very thorough and detailed and came in slightly under estimate. As a result, they will be awarded the $50,000 contract.

My experience was phenomenal. After going through a traumatic experience with another company, I was reluctant to pursue another remodeling job. I took 3 bids, and Father and Son were the middle bid. They also promptly responded to all my calls. They told me that they wouldn't let me down, and they did not. We plan to do future remodeling jobs on the kitchen and the basement. We will use Father and Son Construction company for these jobs. I have nothing but praise for the employees there. I've had many compliments on my remodel.

THEIR QUALITY OF WORK WAS EXCELLENT. IT DID NOT TAKE THEM LONG TO GET THE CEILING INSTALLED. THEY DID A GREAT JOB INSULATING IT, BECAUSE OUR HOUSE STAYS A LOT WARMER.

THEY WERE A WONDERFUL FATHER AND SON TEAM. THEY WERE VERY RESPECTFUL AND HAD NO PROBLEMS DOING THE JOB. THEY WERE ON TIME AND TALKED TO US ABOUT OTHER REPAIRS WE NEED DONE.

THE PRICE WAS GREAT FOR THE WORK THAT THEY DID. THEY HAVE GREAT WORKMANSHIP. THEY DID EVERYTHING EXACTLY HOW WE WANTED THEM TO. THEY FINISHED THE JOB IN RECORD TIMING.

THEY WERE AN EXCELLENT COMPANY TO WORK WITH. WHEN THEY CAME OUT THE FIRST TIME, THEY BROUGHT THE PEOPLE DOING THE WORK SO WE COULD ALL DISCUSS THE PROJECT. I NEED TO FEEL COMFORTABLE WITH A COMPANY BEFORE I HIRE THEM. I FEEL COMFORTABLE WITH THEM.
