We called in mid October and was able to set up an appointment for 11/4/2014 at 8:30am. No one showed up so we called after 9am and they said they would get someone out to us later that day. After replacing the kitchen sink light, the front porch light, covering exposed wires and seeing why the light on the front lawn was not working he said he would have to order parts to repair the light on the front lawn and they would come back to fix the light once the part comes in. No one has called back to let us know whether or not the part has arrived and when we asked we were not told when the part would arrive. It is now 11/25/2014 and we have not heard back from anyone at this company. Anyone else who completes work for someone would find out and let their customers know when the parts may arrive. Even if he did not know while at our home once the part was ordered we should have been told when the part would arrive. Now I have to find another electrician to complete the work I need done.

The installer generally did a great job. There was an issue with broken wall parts near new switches. I called MACSON to ask for some more information. I was told by the receptionist/scheduler Carrie that the company is not responsible for wall damage. I spoke with Will, the salesman, as well. He was rude and kept saying they are electrician's and not wall experts. That was fair, but I spoke with a few electricians including a master electrician and they mentioned they would have fixed the wall or used a plate. Will was so rude he hung up on me. I left a message for the manager Jason and never heard back from last message to him. I will never use this company and I continue to warn people about using this company. 
I strongly urge people to find another electrician.

I called Macson Electric on behalf of my elderly parents, who wanted a standby generator installed at their home. Jason arrived at their home as scheduled, made a preliminary assessment of the work to be performed while suggesting some options, and explained it all to my parents, who were impressed with his knowledge and thoroughness. He did not provide a quote on the spot, but instead said he would put together the quote at the office and then put it in their mailbox.
Here?s the reason for my grade of  D: It?s been almost three weeks and my parents are still waiting for Jason?s quote. After taking up an hour of their time, he failed to deliver the quote as promised, even though his office is less than three miles from their home. Almost three weeks later, when I called to ask about the quote, they offered to email it to me.. and I?m still waiting for it. 
This  non-responsive behavior gives me an idea how the job would have gone, as well as how he runs his business.   
I?m not doubting the validity of all of the positive reviews of this company posted here, after all, they are the reason I called Macson in the first place. My experience, however, was disappointing and I feel compelled to share it.

I have used Macson in the past and was happy with the work however when I tried to use one of their advertised specials on Angie's List, they said they where not accepting new work. How can you offer a service for Angie's List clients, then say no? I hope Angie's List does something about this.

the lady who spoke with us in the office was very polite and it was easy to set up appointment with her.  the gentleman who came to do the work was very professional, thorough, and the job came in under the estimate.  it's been almost two months, the fans are working fantastically, and we are very pleased with the experience.

They came out and gave us an estimate. The guy never went up into the attic to see what was actually needed to install the fans. The day the electrician came out he said he couldn't do the job that day because it was more involved than was originally estimated. He said they needed additional materials and another electrician to help, along with a re-estimate. After many phone calls, we then informed that it could be done that day at a higher price. The electricians did a very good job of installing the fans, but a large grease stain was left on the carpeting in one bedroom. I had to call a professional carpeting cleaning company to get it out.

Insisted that the outside riser was not high enough and said we needed a new riser or the city would knock it down....which cost more. Put the surge protecter upside down. Did not single up each line to its own breaker. Paid $95 for a permit we never got.

I decided to contact Macson based on the reviews on Angie's List.  I was set up for a quote right away and the service was performed quickly after I decided to proceed with the service.  The communication with the office (Cari) was prompt.  She was great.  I just received my service change from a fuse box to circuit breaker yesterday, 6/9.  The electrician, Carl, was very professional and worked all day straight through.  He did a great job.  I had 3 outlets upgraded in my kitchen as well.  Again, great job.  He cleaned up afterwards and everything is working great!  I was a little nervous scheduling service with the first company I called and that I did not get multiple quotes, but I feel good about it now.  The price was in line with what I had been told others paid for the same service and I did get 5% off using the Angie's List coupon.  I would definitely recommend Macson based on the service I received.

They did call me and inquired about scheduling.  They were very professional and prompt with the call.

Gentlemen came out and gave estimate, and reviewed options of what was needed for the size of my home.  Their estimate was several hundred dollars cheaper than other quote.  I called office and left a message to schedule service, my call was returned, and the service was scheduled with no issues, within two weeks to accommodate my schedule. The office called to confirm the appointment the day before and Carl showed up on time on day of service, he was very professional and knowledgeable; and did a great job. Electrical Permit was pulled with the city.

As i remember the job went well

Bobby has come out twice to my house now (by request) and has done an amazing job both times!  I am extremely happy with all the work that was done, he was able to correct more than a dozen of various electrical problems with skill and precision. He has a "get the job done right" attitude with every project no matter how small or tedious it may be. Definitely recommended to friends and family!

I was very pleased with the work done. Both the quality of the work and the cost were great. The young man who did the work
was very prompt, helpful, and friendly. He fixed a lot of little things my husband had not done exactly right in his home repairs.
My husband wanted the wires on the outside of the house put inside a tube to protect them from the elements and while the workman was doing this he also raised them above the house which he said was code. He was going to put in a plug
outside the front of my house but it was snowing that day so I plan on having him back soon. He also told me that the wiring
of my central air unit was not up to code (another husband job) so I will have him do this when he comes back.
I would recommend this company to anyone.
