Service was good and prompt, but some furniture pieces were damaged by the movers.
My bigger complaint is that the movers did not wear any shoe coverings or had any available and we moved on a weekend that it actually snowed and was quite messy outside!!! Had to get our carpets cleaned again after a move (and already had them cleaned before moving into our new home).
It was an inexpensive service due to purchasing a deal via a specialty website!

But the company simply jacked up their usual note to match the "deal." We found another company (with no "deal") that could help us move. I am so disappointed in using this Big Deal from Angie's List I think I spent $125.00 (it was in the midst of the most difficult time last year. - So I can't recall the exact amount I spent.) I felt taken advantage of & request reimbursement.

I lost track of the cost because it was approximately ten months ago, plus, it kept going up to complete the job.   I wrote multiple checks and used some cash.  Although I bought two coupons, I didn't feel like it saved me any money.  The company just shops out the job to independents.  Essentially, the cost of the coupon was more like their referral fee.  The independent doesn't get any of that money so they charge accordingly.  I was told that the coupon would go towards use of the truck (vs labor) which was rented by the day.  I feel that I could have rented a truck by myself for less.  In all fairness, I have never used a mover before and perhaps didn't realize how expensive it would be.  A friend and myself worked along side the two movers in an attempt to mitigate the cost.
On the plus side, Kingsley, the young man in charge who was the lead independent contractor in this case, was very professional and hard working.  If I had another moving job, I would rent my own truck and hire him directly.
