The Church's McQuay built chiller broke down. The computer controller went bad after a little over a year and of course just a couple of week's after the warranty went out. They said they would call the local rep and try to get another controller paid for under the just lapsed warranty but they told us after contact was made with the manufacturer, the manufacturer would not honor the offer and we had to purchase another control unit for $3,500. That did not include the additional costs they charged for coming and just looking at the computer diagnostics and charging thousands for that and installation of the new controller which took all of under an hour. It was to our absolute amazement when we just recently found out from the local manufacturer's rep that McQuay had no record of Bumler contacting them and that they would have honored our request. On top of that, we found Bumler had consulted and represented a sale for an air-conditioning chiller that was between two and three times larger than what we needed. If you use this company make sure you get additional bids and not trust anything they say.
