Great experience

Tara and a crew of three arrived on 9/15 exactly as agreed. They moved the furniture as needed, and covered the areas where they were working.  Tara stayed for a couple of hours to ensure everything that was needed was available.  the guys worked hard all day long, taking only a short lunch break.  By the end of the first day everything including the wall repairs, had the first coat of paint, and the crowns had been cut and installed & their first coat of paint.
Again on 9/16 the painters arrived on time and immediately started back to work with the second coat. Crown joints were touched up and the crowns and trim received a second coat.  They picked up all their empty paint cans, drop cloths, etc. inspected all floors and furniture, etc for any errant paint drops.  After they left we could not tell that they were ever here, except for our freshly painted rooms and new crown mouldings.
Only issue we had was the next day after the paint had flashed off and was pretty well dried, we found some areas where the paint was thin.  I opened up our email to send Tara a note relative to this issue and when I opened up my email, there was already a note from her that one of her guys had mentioned  they thought some of the paint was thin, but it was hard to tell until it dried. There was no hassle, excuses, or sad tales regarding our concern, she just wanted to know if she could fix it on Thursday or Friday of the following week.  We agreed on the following Thursday(9/24), and the work was completed to our satisfaction.  We appreciate the fact that even though we had some difficult areas to paint and some of it took some acrobatics for access, we did not find any wood floors, floor tiles or carpets with scratches, dents, or paint on them.
Were we ripped of on price? Frankly I don't know because I didn't get another estimate.  Speed Pro was so highly rated on Angie's List (and I am a first time user) that I didn't follow the rules for hiring contractors.  I feel that if I'm satisfied with the work performed and the contractor is satisfied, then neither is being ripped off.
Will we use Speed Pro again?  You bet we will. 

Excellent.  Easy request for bid online, quick call back, timely estimate visit and quote.  Tara worked me in on her first available date for the work.  Friendly, professional team arrived on time and completed the work efficiently, but thoroughly.  Good cleanup.  Will definitely use them again.

It went great! Tara and her team did an excellent job! They were able to complete all the work requested in one day. Tara also came before the work to help select the colors at no addtional cost. She had great suggestions. She was also able to match the exact trim color as well. They left the house neat and clean. I would hightly recommend them to anyone. 

Initially they were good.  I believe that they were in a hurry and the painting started to get messy.  The paint got on the floor and they also broke a door off of the entertainment center.  They chewed up the kitchen floor.  They were sloppy.  They did not do the molding in the laundry room. 

In the 3 years that have followed we have found many areas where the painted areas were not as good as we originally thought. Shortcuts were taken and we have had to rectify this with other contractors.

The experience was perfect. They did it all in one day. I have over 20 windows and they painted all of them outside. They painted the outside of my doors and cleaned the junk off my roof and gutters. They power washed my house and my deck and they put a coat of stain on my deck. They also painted two ceiling inside. I would call them again. The woman who owns the company is very pleasant. They came exactly when they said they would come. They were very professional and I think the price was fair. Their responsiveness was good. She emailed several times and were right on top of it.       

I was happy with their work.  The price was very good. The staff were very good. The quality was very good for the amount of time that they took. They finished the job in three and half days. They missed a few things and I think it is more because of we were strained for time. The job was very good.

Arrived promptly on the day scheduled to paint.  Job went smoothly.  Painters were professional and skilled.  I was happy with their work and would definitely consider them for future painting jobs in my home.

I found them through Angie's List. I was looking for something fast and cheap and they were the cheapest ones.

The work was done on time as promised, the job was good, and she even came back to re-do a part of the drywall repair when the fireplace installer moved the fireplace from the original position at no extra cost.  I've used her before; I'll use her again. She's fantastic! 

As mentioned earlier, Tara and her crew were very professional.  The showed up promptly every morning and in 4 days the completed the job.  Her staff took down all the blinds, and doors, painted the home, and then put everything together just the way it was before.  Not only was I comforted by the Angie's list reports on Speed Pro painting; but even Tara herself told me that if any of the walls and ceilings needed to be touched up...her and her crew would come out and do the work. Trust me when I say this...finding someone you can trust and feel comfortable with when working on your home is tough.  I am happy that I found Speed Pro Painting.  They will be my partner for these types of jobs for as long as I'm in Michigan.

It went smoothly without a hitch.What a pleasure to work with real pros like Speed Pro. From our first meeting until completion it all came together very well. The price was very fair and did not exceed the estimate. We would hire them again without hesitation

I spent around $2000 on that work. The owner of the company gave us some ideas to go with a particular manufacturer and if we went with them we would get an interior decorator free of charge. The interior decorator was here for a few hours and went over the colors. We went to that company and picked out the paint and they took care the rest.

Tara appreciated our desire to match the existing color and took a sample of that color for an exact match. Tara gave us a prompt estimate, came at the scheduled time (herself and another painter), and finished the work in a timely, professional manner (within one day) . We were pleased with the job.

All the bids apart from a bid from a general maintenance guy were about $6000 and he quoted a little over $3000. I saved atleast $500 on the job.

I found Speed Pro Painting through my son?s recommendation after he utilized their services for pre-move in projects, at his newly purchased home. My bathroom was the second project that Tara and her crew completed for me. The first project added color and personality to a master bedroom and bath. My main bath project (the latest project) produced an amazing transformation thanks to Speed Pro?s various talents and services. My admittedly long neglected main bathroom presented many challenges ranging from wallpaper removal (and underlying ?surprises?) to repairing an improperly prepared ceiling that ?rained? egg shell paint chips onto the floor. My project also needed new cabinet hardware, a new light fixture and new mirrors to produce a more updated look for my tired 60?s space. Tara and her crew took care of them all. My small part was to provide my purchased choices and let them put it all together into a totally different looking room, that still wow?s me when I look at it. Speed Pro?s professionalism, quality and variety of provided services, and attention to detail will keep me calling them for help with my future painting plus, projects.

They were prompt professional and did a good job overall. I think the job took longer then expected and towards the end they rushed and did not do the same quality of work we had seen the two days before. Tara does a great job responding to emails and the few things they did miss were taken care no questions asked. Clean Up at the end could have been better, but its a minor issue. Excellent value for the work that was completed and we would be comfortable having them back for our next project.

Tara came out to give an estimate and while looking at my colors instantly hit upon what I already was feeling wasn't right with the color selection. She quickly was able to help me solve my dilemma. On the day they were to start, Tara, Bruce and Raul arrived on time and in good spirits. They worked quickly. Corrected touch ups and were finished by around 3:00 or so. Would have liked a little better clean up in the bathroom. Tara had to come back the next day, but was quick, in out, and did great. I will use them again as soon as I am able.

I was extremely happy with the result. I expected the job to take two days, but they were completely done in one day. There is no way I could have done this work myself so the money was very well spent. I can't think of any problems. Tara, the owner, is very nice. Just all around a great experience. Hoping I can hire them again some day to do the master bedroom.

Tara was on vacation when I initially called, but still returned my call the same day. Came out the following week, exactly on time. Did a great job, completely unobtrusive--I hardly knew there was anyone in my house! Cleaned up--even vacuumed! Great experience, great job, great price. Will use again.

They finished in record time. Not only was it finished in record time, it was so beautiful. They were efficient, hard-working, and didn't waste a moment of time. They were the single best contractor that I have ever hired, period. I would recommend them to anyone. They are as non-intrusive as they could be. They are just class act and are a quality company.
