My garage door stopped half way on its way up. The cables had come off the drums and were tangled around the torsion tube. Called The Doors Inc about 8:30 am. He said he would be there between 12 and 1pm. Mark arrived shortly after noon. He replaced the cables they were kinked. He realigned my door and reset the opened.(I have a Liftmaster opened) He was done before 1. I would call Mark again. Great guy.

THIS IS THE FOURTH TIME THAT WE HAVE USED MARK. I REFERRED MARK THIS PAST WEEKEND TO REPAIR MY DAUGHTER'S GARAGE DOOR OPENER, ALONG WITH ANOTHER REFERRAL THAT MY REALTOR (BILL JANIGA) REFERRED TO A SECOND CLIENT. MARK'S ATTENTION TO DETAIL IS WONDERFUL AND HAVING HAD THE WORK COMPLETED ON A WEEKEND REALLY SHOWED THAT HE CARES ABOUT HIS CLIENTS.

I am extremely pleased with the professional service i received from The Doors. We found their info on Angie's list and they really lived up to the strong recommendations. The owner came out on a Saturday morning to do the repair. He was a very nice guy, very professional, came when he said he would, called ahead to make sure we were there and was done swiftly. The repair was done perfectly. I would highly recommend this company without hesitation.

My garage door wouldn't go up on a Saturday. I called The Doors and set up an appointment for the following Monday. This was due to me leaving town for the weekend. Mark showed up within the specified time frame and replaced the two garage door springs and fine tuned the travel within an hour. He actually had to remove a rail to in order to do some work. Mark explained what he did and replaced a broken hinge for my discontinued garage door model.

Doors Inc. recommended a door and opener that would suit my needs. The color I wanted required a special order which took about 3 weeks. The door arrived and was installed in about 3 hours. The installation appears to be neat and professional. The appearance of the door more that met my expectations (It is a very attractive insulated door.) There was no high pressure sales pitch., the price was within the range of other quotes, and everything was explained to me before and after the installation. I hope this beautiful door lasts for many years.

The job was done promptly, quickly and well. The door was 35 years old and noisy, besides having a broken spring. Now it works like a quiet brand new door. I would definitely recommend "The Door, Inc.

Well after 3 months of opening and closing my garage door manuallY I finally decided to bit the bullet and call someone to fix my opener. I have been putting it off because I just knew it would be expensive and I didn't want to spend the money because I was so sure the whole thing would have to be replaced. But since winter is fast approaching I called The Doors in South Lyon after checking Angies List. Mark came out within a couple of days said the opener looked fine no cracks, it looks like it needs an adjustment. So with in 30 min. It was fixed going up and down perfectly and smoothly . I am so happy and it only cost $60.00.

They came out right away and replaced it in a better way than it was before. I would recommend them to others. I will consider using them again in the future. They gave me a good price, and also a discount because I mentioned I found them on Angie’s list. It was quick and they were in and out.

Last Friday after work, our garage door wouldn't shut all the way. One of the springs had popped off and we couldn't get it reconnected. I called The Doors and left a message. Within the hour, Mark called us back and scheduled to come out Saturday morning to take a look at it. Mark came Saturday morning and quickly diagnosed the problem. Unfortunately for us, we had an old, swing up door and they no longer make the part that was broken so it wasn't fixable. It was an old door, so we figured the best solution was to replace it. We ordered the door and scheduled for it to be installed the following Friday. Friday, he showed up and installed the new door without any issues. It looks great and we couldn't be happier.

I called Mark and left a message, he called me back within the hour. We set up the installation for the following week. The day of the installation Mark had an emergency service call, he called to let me know he would be late. He arrived about an hour after our scheduled time and promptly began taking the old garage door down. He installed the new door, hooked up the garage door opener and re-aligned the door safety beams. Mark had the job completed and the area cleaned up within three hours. The new garage door looks great and works great.

They replaced the seal which they don’t make anymore but he was able to get it.

Our 2 1/'2 year old garage door opener was no longer functioning properly. Mark found the problem NOT to be the garage door opener, but a faulty electrical outlet being used where the garage door opener was plugged in. He couldn't change the electrical outlet (not a licensed electrician) but he strung one of our heavy duty electrical cords to another outlet that was working properly, and the problem was solved. No parts needed, no new garage door needed. No rip-off! Very satisfied, highly recommended.

Was willing to take the time to walk through the issue with me and identified several possible issues. I was able to get it working, and it didn't cost anything. I was impressed that they'd take time to help that way.

They were able to come out the same day I called. They showed up on time and had all the parts on the truck to fix the door on the spot. Very professional and courteous. Very nice company and easy to work with.

Although Mark was about 30 minutes late, he had warned me about it, since he had a few emergency calls beforehand, so I wasn't concerned. He showed up, got right to work, and in less than 2 hours, I had 2 very quiet Liftmaster garage doors installed. He took the time to review what everything did and how it worked, and even gave a few pointers on how to make sure they lasted as long as possible. The belt drive openers are great, super quiet and very smooth!! Make sure to mention you found The Doors on Angie's list to ensure the discount is received.

They were able to confirm that my garage door didn't need to be replaced and was able to identify the problem and fix it. My experience was excellent and they were very professional.

Mark came out and installed a new high end belt drive battery backup opener and outside keypad for us. We have an odd sized door (9x18 foot) and he told me on the phone how much extra it would be for the larger size. We couldn't be happier with the service we received. He was super friendly throughout the process and completely upfront about pricing. His installation was fast and the door has never been quieter. Should the need arise I will definately call him for garage door/opener maintenance in the future.

My overall experience working with Mark was positive. I called him on a Thursday evening after work hours and left a message and he promptly returned my call and quoted me a competitive price on the spot. He offered to come out the next day, which did not work for me, so we scheduled for the following Tuesday. Mark arrived around 9:30am and was gone by noon. Garage door is working great.

My garage door stuck partway down on the evening of 1/16/2013. I called the Doors, Inc. and left a message. Service man (owner's brother) came out the next day and replaced the broken cable plus the other one and two rollers, lubricated everything, tightened the various bolts on two garage doors, repaired the lights of the door opener, and checked everything. Total cost was $110.00. Everything has been fine since.

The repair was great, and subsequently a referral was made to "The Doors" and Mark.

I contacted Mark at The Doors Inc and we discussed issues I was having with my garage door opener. We agreed to a date where he would come out for a service call. I am basically out of the company's service area, buy he agreed to come anyway.(1st +). He called and announced his arrival time between 11:30 to 12 noon. He arrived at 11:35 (2nd +). He analyzed the opener, determined that it was a gear issue, explained the consequences of not addressing it now, and quoated a very ressonalbe prise compared to some other information I had (3rd +). He estimated the completion time to be 1/2 hour - it took 25 minutes (4th +). Mark was professional and knew what he was doing. My big headache, I was trying to fix myself, was solved. This vendor is definitely recommended.

After my garage door wouldn't open I inspected the unit and found that the sprocket that drives the chain had snapped off. I called The Doors Inc on Sunday and left a message. Monday morning Mark called me back, quoted me a price and arranged to come out that afternoon. I had previously priced the gear and sprocket kits online and felt the quote was fair. Mark arrived on time and went to work. I'm guessing the job took around 20 minutes. He replaced the gear and sprocket assembly. He also adjusted the force settings on the door. The door works fine now. I would use this company again.

Called Sectional Garage Door and spoke with Steve. Told him what was happening with garage door motor and he knew just what the issue was. Made an appointment for next morning @ 9 am. Steve showed up at 10 till 9am. Within an hour door motor was fixed and working. He explained to me what he was doing as he did it and showed me what was wrong, he also told me about garage doors . A very nice guy ! He was a pleasure to talk with and did an outstanding job. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company for anything to do with garage doors, openers or repair of them.
