We've used Mike's services twice - once in 2002 and again in 2011. Both experiences have been outstanding. Mike is an excellent contractor. He's extremely experienced; an active leader of the area's home builder's association; and highly competent. The work is done very well, his sub-contractors are polite, tidy, and experienced; and, the work is on-time and on-budget. Mike goes out of his way to be acessible to the home owner - he's willing to come on weekends or evenings or early mornings to talk with the client; he takes calls from wherever he is and addresses situations promptly and with exemplary customer service. For both jobs, we got quotes from three builders; both times Mike's quotes were the lowest. And, we believe we got the best contractor, too. Mike knows how to work with people. Couples often have two different ideas of how something should be done - Mike can find the middle-ground so both partners are satisfied with the plan. To ensure he understands the client's needs, he creates a written plan that he then reviews carefully with the home owner. He makes all changes, then presents a solid quote and contract - which, again, he goes over carefully with the home owner. Once signed, he creates a work plan which he shared with us, and then did his utmost to stay on-schedule. We really appreciated how careful he and his team were with our home. They took steps to minimize the interruptions to our home life, and the dust from all the work. And, we also appreciated Mike's consideration of pets and children. He helps the home owner think through how to keep children and pets safe and out-of-the-way of the construction. We are highly satisfied customers and recommend Mike Rogers without reservation.
