Pointe Painting Co LLC

I don't think we could be much happier.  We live an old house (1919) with a ton of windows which means a great deal of prep work and trim painting.  The prep work can also mean dealing with lead in old paint.  They handled all of this with terrific attention to detail.  Pointe Painting was meticulous in their daily clean up; I don't remember seeing one stray chip of paint.  They were a great group of guys who were a pleasure to have around.  There was no deposit required -- as Robert Tolnai told me during the estimate, "We don't get paid until you're happy."  And speaking of getting paid, I should point out that Pointe Painting's estimate came in at half of several of our bids, and was less than a third of the highest (ridiculous) bid that we received.  The Grosse Pointe mark-up seemed intact on most of our bids, but not with Pointe Painting -- and I'm delighted to say the work was superb.
