The contractor arrived on time for a 9 a.m. appointment. Upon arrival and looking at my doors, he had to make his first trip back to their store to get a different color lock. When he returned and started the installation, I discovered after he'd installed the first lock and started on the second that he was actually removing my existing deadbolts and replacing them with the new deadbolts. I explained to him that he was supposed to install new deadbolts and leave the existing deadbolts in place. He then put the existing deadbolts back on and started working on installing the new deadbolts. After about 20 minutes into the job, he discovered his tools on hand were not adequate to complete the installation and therefore had to leave again to go and get a different tool. Once he returned, he was able to complete the installation. When the job was finished, I questioned him about a cover plate for the deadbolt because the area around the deadbolt was really loose and he stated I didn't need one. The entire process took nearly three hours, which caused me to have to cancel another appointment. Then when I did go to leave the house, I had trouble locking my back door with the existing deadbolt on it. This was the one he'd started taking apart and had to put back together. A couple days later I noticed that I could see daylight around the new cylinder he'd installed on the back door. The cylinder had dropped down and part of the rim around the hole for the cylinder was exposed. I called the store and was informed that they would have to order a part and would have it in a couple of days and come back out to install it. When they received the part, the same service person did come back out to install more sturdy deadbolts on each door. However, my old cylinder on the back door still is very stiff now and turning the key is difficult at times, my door jamb on the front door is chewed up where he was initially using the incorrect tool, and now I see the cylinder on the front door has also slipped down exposing the rim of the cylinder hole. I selected this provider because they had a good rating on Angie's List. My experience with them was not positive. Although the serviceman was polite, the service and quality of the job was very poor. I would not personally recommend this provider to anyone. I think for the price I paid, the quality of the work was very inferior.

I have used them throughout the last 7 years. They always do what you need them to do, they are quick about it, and they are very professional. They are reliable, upfront about things, and have good hours. Whenever I have needed them they have been there.
