We have a golden retriever / german shepherd mix. She has a very thick coat and undercoat so finding someone to properly groom her (get her undercoat clean) has been difficult. Rub a dub dog did a fantastic job. She was trimmed nicely and well brushed. Her nails were also trimmed down appropriately. She is relaxed going and coming from the groomer as well. We have taken her several times and will continue to do so. She has a long tail with really long hair and her tail also looked great.

As per previous review, after I took my Golden Doodle "Sam" to be groomed, I scheduled an appointment to take Sam's actual brother "Charley" to be groomed also at 9:00 am on Tue, 3/11. Just as with the previous review, after 3 and a half hours I got a call to pick Charley up. Everything went perfect, Charley was handsome and I was extremely pleased with the results. So yes, she, in my mind, earned again every bit of my $20 guilt ridden tip (see previous review) on top of the $65 I was charged. I will not hesitate to take them here again for anything. Very professional and courteous.

After calling at 9:00am to see if they had any appointments available, I was told to bring one of my two doodles in. I took my 4yr, 10mo old Golden Doodle "Sam" to Rub-A-Dub Dogs Pet Grooming to see the groomer named 'Amber' at 9:30am, and was embarrassed to do so, as it had been 7 months since he had a bath and haircut. Needless to say he was a mess and was matted. I'm sure she was only being kind by stating to me that "He's not that bad!" Anyway, she added that it would be approximately 3 to
3 and 1/2 hours until he would be able to be picked up and that she would call me approximately a half hour before he would be ready for pick-up. She did call me at about the 3 hour mark and said he'd be ready for pick-up in 20 minutes. WOW! what a difference she made. He looked better than he ever has. She even added again, "that he really wasn't that bad!" Well, all I can say is kinder words were never spoken, even though I felt so guilty for the condition he was in when I brought him in! So yes, she in my mind earned every bit of my $20 guilt ridden tip on top of the $65 I was charged. I will take "Sam's" brother "Charley" in for the same treatment tomorrow at 9:00am. So look for another review!
