The first time my husband went in for a tire rotation, he was told that his car needed an $800 repair job. Instead of authorizing the work, he took his car to our mechanic at Signs Automotive in Williamston, where we get excellent, competent service and have never had a problem. He was informed that there was no such issue. In 2016, I took my car into Belle for a tire rotation. This was the second time I brought my car to Belle for the free tire rotation, since buying high end tires there. The first time was at about 6,350 miles on the Michelin tires that I paid over $900 for.. I do this to protect the warranty, so I can get credits toward new tires, should I not get the mileage guarantee on my high mileage tires. However, the rep there, did not give me an invoice for the first rotation and when I returned for the second, I was told that I had driven over 12,000 miles without a rotation! Nothing I could do or say to the manager would convince him that the work had been performed. I remembered that the first rotation was a short wait in the waiting room (for Belle Tire) and began to suspect that the free rotation had not even been performed. When I told the manager about my suspicion, he said, "Are you calling my employees liars?", wherein I told him that he was essentially accusing me of the same thing. We ended at impasse and I told the manager that I had bought my last set of tires at Belle. I have paid my usual mechanic $12 to rotate the tires, however the warranty is now null and void. Discount tire, you have a returning customer when I need a new set of tires.

They're very professional there. They will take you as soon as they can, they're very punctual. If you go in there and it's very busy, you can still probably work something out where you could have the car still serviced or bring it back later in the say or something of that sort. It's not far from my home, so it's easy to get there. They have a very new, modern facility with everything there. Their technicians know what they're doing. So it's above average for a facility of that type.

The last couple of times I visited them was for coolant related issues. They do very good work there.

After buying tires for three sets of cars, I will no longer be a Belle Tire customer, rather I will be shopping at their competitor Discount Tires across the street. I bought a set of Michelin Tires for my 2011 Malibu less than 12,000 miles ago. When I bought the tires I was told I would get email reminders to come in for tire rotation. A search through my email box showed tons of email from Bell attempting to sell me something, but no rotation reminders, so I had to take it upon myself to try and track the mileage. I took the car back in after driving approximately 6,700 miles for tire rotation. The salesman assured me that it was not too late, as far as meeting the warranty requirement to rotate every 6,000 miles and they performed the work. Today, when I called in to inquire if it was time for another rotation, the guy that answered the phone told me that they show I have not had a tire rotation since buying the tires. Wrong, I told him and that he needed to update his system with corrected information or lose me as a customer. He said that he could not do so and I asked to be called by the manager. The manager called my husband first, then called me. My car, my tires, my money and he calls my husband??? That was also wrong and highly offensive. The manager tried to dominate the conversation, talk over me and repeatedly said that if the work was done there would be a record in the system and claimed he had done an extensive search in the system. I had found it curious that I left after the first rotation without an invoice, but wasn't concerned because it was free. I let him know that I was done with Belle Tire. So is my husband, who is also a feminist. He had an experience where he went in for his last tire rotation and was told he needed a $1000 repair on his suspension. A second opinion was sought at Bappert Automotive and they did not agree with the assessment. Bell tire, three strikes and YOU ARE OUT!.

Paid for work. When I picked up car the squeaking had become constant and now my steering wheel was difficult to turn. Took it back - very unhappy. They worked on it for 2 days. They paid for a rental car. When I picked it up the steering was ok (again) but the squeaking was constant. So - 2,200 dollars later - right before Christmas - and I still had same problem I had when I took the car in to Belle Tire. On Christmas Eve I had an oil change at a local mechanic - he said your brakes and rotors in the back are shot and you are down to 5% on the front brakes - can you hear it squeaking? I told him my story about Belle Tire. He was shocked at the price they had charged and didn't understand the decision to replace the rack and pinion . He asked what they had said about the brakes. I said they never mentioned them. He said your brakes are an actual safety issue. He offered to replace both front and back brakes and back rotors for a reduced price. He also offered to call Belle Tire for me. I declined the offer for the phone call but had my brakes fixed. No more squeaking - for 400 dollars. He showed me the old parts and asked I wanted them. He said that is the law. The brakes were the actual problem. Belle Tire's actions negatively impacted my family holiday with their price, incorrect diagnostics, and for wasting my time by pulling me away from work multiple times. An expensive lesson.

Excellent, professional service.  Did not try to sell us service that was not needed.  Would definitely use Belle Tire again.

The staff at this Belle Tire was helpful and pretty quick and efficient. We were there for about 2 hours, which wasn't too bad.

Belle Tire in Okemos has ALWAYS provided professional and prompt service.  Today, there was a rattling sound under the car.  They took a look at it, drove it around to listen for it, tightened a few bolts, and the sound was gone.  They didn't charge me anything for their time.  They are very efficient.

The Good: They did the work, installing four Michelin Tires in about 2.5 hours.   They took longer than they said they would  and wouldn't honor a Belle Tire On-Line coupon for $30.  All of these places make me nervous as it is hard to diagnose your own car. On balance, Belle Tire seemed a little more trustworthy than most.

Good service and tire recommendations.  I wanted to make sure the tires were not noisy like previous tires were.  Fast courteous service.

The work was done while I waited.  The final price was less than the estimate and only the parts required were used.  The parts that were still good were not replaced.  I was well satisfied with the results.  I was treated fairly and professionally as I waited in the customer lounge. 
All parts and labor were guaranteed.

They were great.  The salesperson was not pushy, but helpful.  Answered all of our questions based on our needs.  We drive a lot,, so he recommended a different tire than the one we were originally looking at.  Turns out it was a better tire!  They gave us a fair price estimate and honored a discount, too.  Overall, I would go back and give them our family's auto repair work based on the tire purchase experience.

They are really good.  They are just very generous as far as putting tires from one car to the other car without charging us.  They did a front alignment on my car but saved money reusing a part that was not damaged.  We appreciated that.  My husband does a lot of car work but there a couple of things that he can't do.  Their service and kindness were really good.
