Description of Work: John arrived at my house 15 minutes after I called him (and he answered). He provided an estimate that undercut the competition between 30-60%. They arrived on-time, on the date we together decided. They brought a large crew and took down four large trees, 1 leaning huge boxelder, 2 half dead huge boxelders and a large dead white pine. The clipped away parts of the fence that was grown onto. He also removed some miscellaneous rubbish from the previous owners. Upon my request, John left at least 5 yards of quality chips (that came from his chipper) that I plan on lining the landscaping beds with. I could not recommend Tree Max and the crew any more highly. They were simply exceptional and couldn't be more happy.

 + -1 moreJohn called to tell me he was going to be a little late. He arrived and introduced his crew. They were all very nice, polite and knowledgeable about their business. They worked very very efficiently and the job took a lot less time than I had expected. John advised me that one of the branches had done some damage to some shingles so I should know to get it repaired. While they were working I asked about a small dead Ash -- John cut it down for no charge! They cleaned up and left no mess -- just some saw dust! I am very happy with the work.
Description of Work: Removed two Elms and trimmed up another. The trees were fairly tangled in cables. Ground down stumps.

 + -1 moreJohn came out very soon after I called to give me an estimate. He scheduled the work for a few days later (it was raining a lot and he had to wait for a drier day). He cleaned up the yard and ground up all the branches he had trimmed. Now my yard gets some sun! He did the work when he said, was courteous and did a great job.
Description of Work: John cut off the lower branches off our Norway Maple and thinned some of the other branches to bring some sunlight into the yard. He also cut off a large branch hanging over our roof from another tree and cut down a younger tree that we didn't want.

Description of Work: Took down an old willow bush that had grown into an unruly tree, with lots of limbs. John cleaned up nicely and treated the stump so we hope it will die off and rot away. This is a big relief, and I'm delighted at the fast and complete service.

 + -1 moreTHEY DID A GOOD JOB. THEY TOOK THE TREE DOWN THEN REMOVED THE STUMP. THEY CLEANED UP THEIR MESS AND ANY TRASH THAT WAS IN THE YARD. THEY REALLY WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY AND WERE VERY NICE BOYS.
