The Mayflower Transit name is the most recognized name in the moving industry. We opened Premier Relocations LLC because we wanted to build something special in our community and bring the Mayflower standards to the Detroit suburbs. Every day we move people, but every move is different. We love our customers and strive to build lifelong relationships. Premier immediately assessed my needs and sent out a consultant to work with me. I was fortunate enough to work with Robin and Marissa... both who helped me and checked in on me throughout the moving process. Robin visited my apartment and provided me with affordable options...I was a recent college grad at the time making my second big move across the country which is not cheap! Robin felt like family and understood how important it was for me to move without worrying about all the little details.
I ended up using Premier over my company's recommended moved because they were so quick, efficient, and understanding of my crazy situation. The movers that packed me took less than three hours and were so friendly even fighting through the terrible weather we were having. My stuff arrived in Houston and an awesome team drove all the way to Austin and unpacked me in a little over two hours...and I now live on the third floor! Everyone from the office workers to the movers were great to work with. I had broken a part of my bed before the move and the movers who unpacked me offered to fix it in Texas!
The difference with Premier is that they treat you like family. They go above and beyond and as a single young female trying to move on my own was not an option. I couldn't have been happier with the outcome! Will definitely be using them again for future moves!

I also received an estimate from another mover over the phone who gave me a cheaper price, but I went with Premier because of the second insurance option, because they bill on the quarter hour, because I didn't have to make a down payment prior to the move to reserve my date and because they sent an estimator to the house. I did go back to the other mover and asked specific questions about all of the above before making my decision based on information Robin offered during her visit.
I was contacted by a move coordinator with a day of receiving the estimate and contacted the Friday before to get the two-hour window when the moving crew would show up.
The moving crew, Kenny, Scott and Joseph were on time and in addition to being very professional, answered all of my questions and addressed my concerns about some specific items. They were friendly and personable and I enjoyed having them in my home. Their team work as a crew was like a well-oiled machine and they completed the move in the amount of time given in the estimate. Once a few items were in the apartment, I realized they need to be moved to a different room or location and even though they guys were starting to get tired, they always said "No problem". The location I moved to has a tight, winding staircase, which was one of my concerns, and they got everything (even the very heavy items) in without damaging anything. I am very, very pleased.
