Begonia Brothers Full Service Landscape Care

Begonia Robbers As much as I wanted to support local businesses, it was mistake to do business with this company. They claimed that they have worked an x number of hours based on their GPS tracking. I have surveillance cameras and a person who monitored their work. They worked way less hours with what they are claiming. They don’t come to work daily, sometimes worked for leas than 8 hours and sometimes will leave after a few hours of work. About the retaining wall, they charged me double with what they estimated. They claim that I requested to change the design when it is a straight-up lie. I’ve learned the hard way, so to save your self from robbers, don’t ever do business with this folks.

I was happy with the service.

Cut grass at our home weekly for the past 5 or 6 years. Excellent work.

We visited their store we were asked a great set of questions about what we liked and disliked, what was in shade or in direct sun, if the soil was well drained or damp, if we had trouble with deer and other wildlife, and even how much maintenance we wanted to invest in our yard. When Mark, our salesperson and designer, came to our house then, he was prepared having already reviewed the info. He e-mailed us his design and estimate 3 days after his visit. Loved his design and his price was great compared to our other estimates that we had received. He also included in his design the plants that I already had that I wanted saved.
We went back to their store and were able to see all the shrubs and plants that he had suggested. The stone he selected(which looks great with our brick) was not available to view at the store, so Mark sent us a web site so we could see it on line before we accepted their bid.
The work was delayed from the original date set but it was very hot so we were fortunate that it was delayed.
.Mark kept us appraised of what was going on by sending us e-mails. They did the work after the heat spell broke and all the plants were in. The day of the work, they were well organized, professional, and efficient. Mark came to explain how to care for all the plants, what needed heading, when to trim, etc. that day. He told us how to water the sod and plants specifically for the first 2 weeks, then routinely.
All the plants, sod, shrubs look great . Very pleased with all phases of their work.

They went through the whole line and replaced a valve that was broken. They were great to deal with and gave a reasonable price. They had gotten tied up in a previous job, but they called to make sure that we knew they would be late so I feel that they take promptness seriously.

They have a great place and they are great people. I would recommend them. They are honest, trustworthy and really nice and family oriented. Their prices are fair but they are not the lowest priced. They are good.

Great customer service that goes beyond what is expected

A landscape designer listened to my desires and devised a list of plans. Generally, I had moved into a new house and felt that the previous owners used a heavy hand on the landscaping. I wanted a less cluttered appearance. The designer immediately understood what I wanted and made a list of proposals, which include mostly of shrub and tree removal and entire mulch bed areas. He sought to reuse as much as possible - rather than digging up shrubs and replacing them with nearly identical shrubs, he offered to relocate shrubs and annuals from undesired locations to desired locations. He offered an itemized list from which I approved or rejected specific proposals.
I was very satisfied with the final appearance of the job - the designer visited often and made sure that things were installed or modified according to plan. The installers did the job right. For example, I have previously had two other landscapers install sod. Begonia Brothers was the first one to actually make sure that the sod was appropriately and quot;matedand quot; with the soil. My two previous landscapers had not bothered to smooth out the underlying soil, not to push the sod down - this resulting in large air gaps beneath the sod, making it difficult to keep the grass from dying.
The job was mostly labor and involved fewer materials than a typical landscaping job. Nevertheless, the estimate was reasonable. On top of that, the final bill came out to LESS than the estimate.

They were prompt. They worked for us in the past and they did a good job. They were just very professional. We will use their services again in the future.
