FLOWER CART

Flowers were suppose to arrive at the funeral home by noon for the 2-4 viewing. I received an email from the family at 1:37 that the flowers had yet to be delivered. When I called The Flower Cart I was told the driver had problems and the flowers would arrive in time for the 6-8 viewing. I responded by letting them know this was not acceptable. At that point is was told it would be at least 45 minutes before the driver could get there. I requested the owner to call me which he did at 2:26. He informed me that the driver delivered the flowers at 2:18. He explained that the driver had broken down earlier in the day and did not have cell phone reception and had to walk to someones home to use a phone. There was no offer to discount the cost as I would have expected which is quit disappointing. As a local business ourselves we take great pride in doing the right thing.
