Ronald J Tobias

The first time I called him, he wasn't very responsive - kind of evasive and abrupt on the phone.   He said he would have to call me back.  I didn't expect to hear from him again and then, a couple of months later, he calls me and asks if I still need horse fencing.  I said I did and we agreed to meet at my property.   
When I met him, I understood why he was abrupt on the phone; this is an old farmer, right down to his overalls!   He was very pleasant in person and I actually got him to smile a couple of times.   He listened to what I needed, asked a couple of questions regarding location of posts around a concrete pad, measured out the paddocks, scribbled his notes on a little notepad and said, "Ok, we'll get it done."   Two days later, I had 3 paddocks installed!   A bit pricey but my horses aren't going to bust out of it any time soon.  Never asked for any money up front either.
Well worth waiting for Mr. Tobias to fit you into his schedule.   I will have him out again for my next fencing project.

We were pleased with his work and price so much so that we had him come back for another job.

He does some work for Michigan State University and that is when I first met him.
