Description of Work: They were professional and courteous over email and phone. Making an appointment for the estimate was painless and the gentleman showed up on time, was thorough and explained my options and his recommendations clearly. The price was good and competitive. Scheduling the work was easy and again the crew came in a timely manner, was courteous and did great work!

Description of Work: Complete reroof. Install foam insulation on top of roof under new shingles. Redo trim and facia in cedar. Rehang gutters.

Description of Work: We got an estimate to replace our gutters, another for the roof. We did the gutters only due to monetary constraints. We arrived home on the installation date an hour ahead of the appointment and found the gutters already in place. A quick inspection confirmed that the gutter guards had been forgotten, but this omission was quickly made right. The only drawback with this company seemed to be a lack of communication between the person(s) answering the phones and the ones handling the contract, but no major problems resulted. Minor inconveniences were handled promptly and with good humor.

Description of Work: Kleinschmidt re-roofed our home and did selective gutter repair/replacement. There were no wet or dry rot issues in wood, just removing and replacing underlayment, shingles and some gutters. This is a large two-story house with steep angles and a three-story drop on the side with walk-out basement. The repair was begun in November and completed in January or February. The delay was due to weather but also material shortage. Apparently the original measurement was slight and they ran out of shingles. | |Roofing appears to be done with precision. Looks and performs well. Crew were messy during the process, but ultimately cleaned up. There were no safety rails or ropes used which surprised us and made us worry -- particularly given the season/weather. No injuries occurred that I am aware of. | |The gutter repair/replacement was done as requested, but does not function properly. I would have expected a consultation to recommend improvements / changes to enhance performance. | |Kleinschmidt is not generally viewed as the lowest price. They were in our case and after-the-fact that appears to have been due to measurement mistake.

Description of Work: |They replaced our gutters & downspouts. They did it very quickly and professionally. Service was outstanding from the initial contact to the final job clean up. I could not have expected more from a contractor.

Description of Work: RD Kleinschmidt did a terrific job for me. I asked them to replace several gutters and to also remove two satellite dishes from the garage roof and repair any holes in the roof. They were more than willing to take care of that "odd job" for me. With regard to the gutters, they helped redesign and resize the gutters. I also asked them to take a peek in my attic and make sure everthing with the roof was OK and they did that as well. Very pleased and will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: The crew was hard working and conscientious. It took longer than exepected to complete the job but they stuck to it. The only reason they get a "B" as opposed to an "A" is there was more collateral damage than I expected - front stair bricks were broken ($675 to repair), nail in pool stained pool liner ($ TBD), some debris still left in gutters

Description of Work: I called them to send someone out to give us an estimate on fixing our ridge cap on our roof. They are very polite and willing to help.

Description of Work: Repaired valley and replaced shingles that were damaged. From the first contact to the last contact I had with this company, they were professional and very nice. I am very happy with the repair, price and service I received.

Description of Work: I used Kleinschmidt in the past for gutter relocation. They were prompt and did an excellent job, for a reasonable price. When I had them over for a quote on the roof, Don Hieber was again prompt, well-informed and highly professional. I did decide to go with another roofer, but not because of lack of confidence with Kleinschmidt. Many of my Ann Arbor neighbors swear by their skill and quality.
