He did a very nice job. He was very neat, and covered his shoes when he came in. Tony was the one that came out, and did a very nice thing.

We had a bathroom renovation being completed. We needed the new faucet attached and the toilet reconnected. All the surfaces, including the new tile floor, were in finished condition. In spite of that, the gentleman that did the plumbing was extremely mindful of this and didn't scratch, gauge or damage anything already in place. He completed the work in the time he determined upon arriving to the job, and it cost exactly what we were told. I would highly recommend them to anyone. It pays to have a reliable and experienced contractor.

It went very well. The plumber was able to assess the problem quickly and clean out the lines. He was also there right on time. I would use this company again. He also explained the root cause of the problem and some options to correct it.

They arrived at the promised time and their work was excellent. They explained everything they were to do and were very thorough. The final price was exactly as estimated and they cleaned the basement and left nothing for us to pick up. After they left our home, my husband called them with some questions and they sent someone back to our home to clarify his questions. All in all, they were extremely professional and helpful and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. We were extremely satisfied.

When I called Paul Scott Plumbing, the receptionist was friendly and I was able to schedule an appointment at my convenience. I was scheduled for the first appointment of the day and she told me I would be contacted before they arrived. I received the phone call from the technician saying he would be at my home within 20 minutes and he showed up when promised. We discussed my issues and he told me what needed to be done. He was very professional, answered all my questions, and he left the job site clean when he was finished. I would recommend Paul Scott Plumbing and would use them again.

Brian from Paul C.Scott Plumbing, arrived at the promised time and was very professional and efficient. He installed the new sump pump with backup with a minimum of inconvenience to us, cleaned out the hole where the sump pump was placed and cleaned up the whole area where he was working. We had absolutely no clean up. He also explained in detail how the new pump worked and answered all of our questions. Shortly after he left, we had a few minor problems, called the office and Brian was back at our house within an hour and took care of everything. The next day, we had some questions about the pump, called the office and asked to speak to Brian and were advised that he was on a job. My husband said that was fine but could he just talk to someone who could answer a few questions. He was advised that rather than just have a phone conversation, they would send someone out to check everything. The new plumber arrived in a very short period of time, checked everything and assured us that everything was OK. We were very impressed by the level of service at Paul C. Scott plumbing and will definitely use him again. We are very satisfied customers.

overall i am very happy with there work and will continue to use them in the future

Came home from a long weekend on July 4th evening to find the water level in my basement floor drain almost overflowing and we had more rain in the forecast. Called Paul C. Scott and within an hour a courteous and professional plumber arrived to clear the sewer line of roots and other offending debris. Gave me some good advice to help prevent the issue in the future and completed the job in about 40 minutes. It was a very straightforward job, but I received excellent service considering it was off-hours and on a holiday. Price wasn't nearly as high as I expected to pay.

They are confident and polite. Their price is reasonable. They did a nice job and I had a nice conversation with them. I have used them more than once.

I came home from work around 7:30 pm to find about 3 inches of water in basement that was coming up from a backed up storm drain. The owner Paul himself gave me a flat fee over the phone and said someone would be there within an hour. Guess what they were there in about 30 minutes ready to work. The plumber that was sent out was knowledgeable and explained what he was going to do and what the problem was BEFORE he began working. After he did the work he explained to me that the permanant solution was a sump pump, which I asked him about. The thing I liked was he didn't try to sell me right now. He explained it was something I could probably hold off doing for a year or so and even told me that I should get a couple of quotes beside theirs. Best thing is he left my house and you would have never known he was there......except the water was gone. Will use again and I would recommend them highly, even if they weren't the least expensive. You get what you pay for.

It went well. They are very professional, arrive on schedule, and do good work.

I would not recommend this company. It used to be good when the Owner did the work , now it is his son, and I just did not get a good gut feeling about his work ethic.

I bought a new house and during the inspection, I had the sewer line inspected with a camera(which I recommend). There were tree roots in the line about midway through the sewer line (between basement drain and main line at the street). Paul C. Scott was the third company that I had come in to camera the line. Rick came in and gave me the best explanation of what was going on in the line. He did not pressure me into anything, but after hearing his explanation and recommendation and the other two companies' recommendations, I decided to go ahead and have a clean out line installed at the house. I got estimates from the three companies and they were all within a $100 of each other. I chose Paul Scott because I felt comfortable with them. The day of the installation, Brian did the work. He was very professional and arrived on time. He explained what was going to happen and the job went pretty smoothly. He accidentally clipped the water pipe with the excavator, but he repaired it and made sure that it worked before filling the hole. They cleaned out the roots and camera-ed the rest of the line to make sure there were no problems. I was happy with the work of Paul C. Scott and have no problem using them in the future.

We're filing this report several months after receiving service because we just joined Angie's List. We noticed dampness around the floor moulding near our bathroom sink and called Paul Scott plumbing to inspect for water leaking. Company quoted rate of $90/hr. Without informing us, they sent out two men. They could only come while we were at work, so we didn't observe them. They claimed to replace a six foot span of 1/2 inch pipe in the crawl space. When they finished, they called me at work and told me they would not leave until they were paid. And they continued to bill me for two men while they waited for me to leave work and drive home to pay them. When I questioned why they sent out two men, they said that was standard when they worked in a crawl space. They did not tell me that before the service call. My crawl space is easily accessible and tall enough for a man to kneel. Days after Paul Scott plumbers left, we still felt dampness along our floorboards. We thought we still had a leak. We called a different contractor who could not locate any portion of pipe in the crawl space that appeared to have been recently replaced (in a 50+ year old house). Further, the floor insulation in the crawl space was completely saturated with water. The second contractor said it had been saturated for a long time and he pulled it out. I observed the insulation. It was like a sponge saturated with water over a 10 foot x 10 foot area. The water dripped from it into the crawl space. We had recently installed wood floors in the room outside the bathroom (above this insulation). If we hadn't removed the insulation, I'm confident there would have been damage to our floor. I called Paul Scott and asked them why they didn't tell me about the wet insulation in the crawl space so I could remove it. They answered that it wasn't their job. I also asked Paul Scott to come back to my house to show me where they changed out the six feet of pipe. They refused. I felt Paul Scott Plumbing overcharged me when they sent two men to fix a 1/2 inch pipe. I felt Paul Scott Plumbing overcharged me when a second contractor could not locate the pipe Paul Scott Plumbing claimed to replace and when Paul Scott Plumbing refused to point out to me the work they did. I felt Paul Scott Plumbing's professionalism was poor when they phoned me (after they completed their work) to tell me they would not leave until I came to them from work with full payment--especially when two men in two trucks were waiting for me when I arrived and I was billed for both men to wait. I felt Paul Scott Plumbing's quality was low when they failed to tell me the insulation in a large area under my wood floor (right where they worked) was saturated with water and needed to be removed (and they hadn't taken a few minutes themselves to pull it down from the rafters to stop the damage it was causing).

Paul C Scott & Son Plumbing was very, very good. They knew what they were doing and how to solve the problem fast. They are always here when I need them and they are even open 24 hours. I highly recommend this company to anyone.

Well the plumber was on time, seemed friendly, and competent however, I feel there was excessive trips back to truck (to milk time) old service mans tricks, cracked glass tile under sink did not mention it. Cleaned up area well. Also discrepancy in hourly rate.

It was fine. They were polite. They cleaned up. He was here for 1 hour and 15 minutes. They charged for two hours. I felt they overcharged.

He charged me $100 to put a faucet on that I already had. I had other work that I wanted them to do but it was too expensive for me.

Brian Scott, the son, was prompt, pleasant, neat, & very competent.

I LIKED THIS COMPANY. THEY WERE VERY PERSONABLE. THEY WERE ON TIME AND DID THE JOB NEATLY AND THAT IS IMPORTANT TO ME. THEY WERE EFFICIENT AND PROVIDE A PROFESSIONAL JOB.

I THINK THEY DID A GOOD JOB. MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THAT HE DID NOT CLEAN UP ANY OF HIS MESSES, SO THAT WAS INCONVENIENT FOR ME. HE DID A PRETTY GOOD JOB, BUT HE DIDN'T GO OUT OF HIS WAY TO DO AN EXCELLENT JOB.

THIS COMPANY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB OF CLEANING OUT THE SEWER. THEY ARE NICE PEOPLE TO WORK WITH AND DO A PROFESSIONAL JOB. THEY COME WITHIN THE WINDOW THAT THEY SET UP FOR YOU.
