I have been using Midwest Carpet Cleaning for years at my home and place of business. They are always on time and do an awesome job.

They started out well.Then the more experianced young man that was cleaning the carpet,seemed be be in a hurry.When he got over by the doorwall,he hit my Grandfather clock,that is a special edition of the Statue of Liberty,bought in 1986.One of the weights came crashing down,knocking out part of the bottom of the cabinet and breaking the ends of the weight.He did apologize. I've had carpeting replaced,cleaned over the twenty five years,and everyone has been os careful not to get close to the clock.It is mahogny and cherry wood,so water and steam has left water marks also.A gentlemen came out took pictures.What turned out to be a simple cleaning,became an expensive and sad experiance.

"Here at Midwest, we care about all our customers and take pride in providing quality customer service to each and every customer. We have provided quality work to our customers for over 27 years. Several attempts were made to contact the customer. As soon as we found out about the incident, we sent a regional manager to the home. At that time, our manager recommended two reputable clock repair companies for estimates. We followed up the manager's visit by leaving messages on the customer's home phone as well as sending a certified letter. No response was received from any of the correspondence. In all fairness, we should have had an opportunity to rectify the situation prior to posting negative comments on Angie's List. It saddens us deeply to have a dissatisfied customer. Our customer's are our most valuable asset and the foundation of our success."
