Men On The Move

Two men arrived in time. They were very friendly and went right to work. They were responsive to all my requests and finished the move in an efficient and friendly manner.

This past Monday I moved into a new condo and used Men on the Move to move me out of my old condo and into the new one.  Rob and Matt were absolutely the most hard-working professional movers I've ever used.  They showed up on time and just as they started to work, the rain started.  However, the steady down-pour didn't slow them down at all and they got all my boxes and furniture safely in the truck.  This was a local move so they then drove directly to the new place and promptly started unloading everything and moving it into the new condo.  The new place had more stairs and narrower doorways but they found a way to get all my furniture in the rooms where I wanted it even to the extent where they had to remove the top of my large heavy old oak desk to get it into the office.  I was very impressed and would highly reccomend this company to anyone planning a move!  This was the best $695 I have ever spent!!

Overall, an excellent job. We moved locally from one house to a larger house. There were tons of furniture (some very heavy pieces). Four men showed on time. We took a walk through the house for basic instructions and they went to work. They were professional, polite, and worked hard the entire (long) day in 90 degree heat. They wrapped everything carefully and always were ready to help with items that required special handling. In the new house (as in newly built), we had extensive wood floors and they were very careful not to scratch or mar them (they didn't even use handcarts in the new house - they carried everything). Pricing was a bit higher than other quotes, but since the move was based on time and materials, the estimate we were given was only a couple percent higher than the original quote. I am sure that's because we threw a few curve balls in that streched the day a bit. Based on the end result, it was worth an extra couple of dollars to prevent damage and get the job done right.
The only question I had (and it really makes no difference to me in terms of the move) is they sent two large box trucks instead of a semi. They had to call in a 3rd cube truck for some residual items. Like I stated, it made no difference to me and the site supervisor stopped the clock when they waited 20 minutes for the 3rd truck to arrive, so from a cost perspective, it really had no impact. I would highly recommed this company and would certainly use them again.

Ron and Doug arrived right on time and got right to work. The move went very smoothly. They wasted no time and took great care of my belongings. They were kind and friendly as well. I would use them again and would recommend to friends and family.

I THOUGHT THAT THEY DID A POOR JOB. THEY DECIDED THAT THEY WERE GOING TO MAKE TWO TRIPS WHEN I ASKED THEM TO MAKE ONE. WHEN THEY WERE MOVING MY LIVING ROOM SET THEY SCRATCHED IT UP. THEY ALSO PUT A HOLE IN MY WALL.

THEY DID AN AVERAGE JOB. THEY WERE VERY CAREFUL WITH OUR THINGS. THEY SAVED US A LOT OF TIME AND MONEY. THEY HAD EVERYTHING DELIVERED TO OUR HOUSE ON TIME.
