 + -1 moreHunt's ACE Hardware is helpful and honest. The first time I went to Hunt's was several months ago when I was searching for a washer for a kitchen faucet. I had gone to another hardware and the salesperson had laughed when I asked for a washer and pointed me to the aisle where they were located. There was nothing I could use. I then tried Hunt's ACE Hardware. When I walked in a salesperson asked if he could help. After we talked he said I needed an 0-ring, not a washer and he led me to the proper place in the aisle. When I described the probem, he said he didn't think the 0-ring would help and explained his analysis. I did not buy anything, but went home and took a new approach to the problem. He had been right; I did not need a new 0-ring. Since then I have returned to Hunt's a few times. Every time someone asks if he can help and the person helps me find what is needed. I appreciate both the help and the honesty. I am now making Hunt's ACE Hardware my first stop when I need things.
Description of Work: Most recently I purchased lights for a light table used to maintain plants during the winter.

 + -1 moreThis store has pet screens, mitered corners, a variety of colors, etc. The screen they created is sturdy, and the price was reasonable. Originally, I was told I would have to wait 7 to 10 days for the screen, which seemed too long, but I got the call that they were finished 3 days later.
