I used Home Advisor to find a reputable heating and cooling company. Previously, I had used a company who could not figure out the issues with my furnace. So happy Home Advisor recommended Crain Heating and Cooling. Jason came out and gave me the truth. Within days, I had a new furnace and AC unit installed. Rob and Derrick were very professional, knowledgeable, and very polite. Yes, I highly recommend them and Crain will receive my future business. Thank you!

My furnace stopped working on Thursday evening. I called a local company I have used in Royal Oak, MI and received a call back withing 20 minutes. The guy was nice but went on and on about how I would save so much money if I would purchase an ongoing service plan. I finally told him I would think about it and call back in the morning. I called another company in Royal Oak and didn't receive a call back. Twice. I took this as a sign to do some reading online before having someone out. That's how I found Crain Heating. I called first thing Friday morning and had 2 guys here in a couple hours. Jason the manager and Derek in training. They were very polite, professional and explained everything about my furnace. They really took their time checking to be sure that everything was working safely and price was very reasonable. I feel very comfortable recommending this company and will use them again. In addition to doing a great job and everything that I listed above, they were also great with my dogs!

Exceptional company and people to work with! There should be a special sixth star rating for exceeding all expectaitions, which Crain Heating and Cooling did in every category. Amazing follow-up, prompt, friendly and courteous service, hard working team with attention to every detail. Most importantly, this is a company that is Trustworthy! That was my first impression, which was confirmed in every step of the process. Before I called Crain, I had another company come out to service the old furnace. I was given an inflated price for replacement which was then dropped 3 times in 5 minutes in their follow-up phone call. Jim Crain came out and gave me knowledgeable advice, answered all of my questions and gave me several options and very fair pricing on each option, with no "hard sell" tactics. With his help, I'm confident that I was able to choose the best furnace for my home. As a small business owner myself, I am always looking for ways to best serve my customer. The entire team at Crain Heating and Cooling has mastered the art of putting the customer first, and providing a customer experience that is exceptional. I would highly recommend Crain (and already have) to anyone looking to replace a home heating or cooling system.

From the start of consultation to the installation of the furnace and a/c was with exceptional customer service. The technicians demonstrated adequate knowledge of the products and displayed professionalism with the installation. They personally handled the rebate processing for me. I would personally recommend Crain to anybody who value honesty and professionalism.

Enjoyed working with both Audrey C. and Jason J. -- After the furnace service was completed, Jason very patiently went over the warranties (that we had overlooked) with me for each element of our heating and cooling system, going above and beyond what his job required.

Honestly, I can't recommend Crain Heating and Cooling highly enough. Everyone I worked with was absolutely professional and friendly from start to finish, and happy to explain the process every step of the way. Jason patiently went through steps I could take maintenance-wise to keep my new system running well. The installers arrived on time and cleaned up well. I'd originally called for an estimate on a new furnace, and ended up having them replace the AC and hot water heater as well. I couldn't be happier with Crain and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others.

I had several companies bid on the job. Only Crain gave me a detailed explanation of and written bid for the work, and included pulling a permit for the job. Installers arrived on time, were polite and professional, cleaned up well after themselves. A great experience.
