He checked put appliances and honestly told me he could fix, but because of the water issues, they would probably not last, so I bought new

I liked that Ray explained to me what was wrong with my freezer and he even showed me the part that was broken. He took his time and made sure that my freezer was working properly before he left. I would recommend him to anyone who needs their appliances repaired.

This was our first experience with HomeAdvisor, and it was excellent. The repair person from Rays Appliance called within minutes after I filled out the information, and was at our home the very next morning. He fixed the washer, and answered many questions from my husband concerning the washer and dryer. He was patient enough to wait long enough for a full cycle, to make sure the new part was working, which it was. We will definitely hire this company again.

Ray's Appliance did a great job fixing my dryer. I called for service on Monday, and Tuesday AM they were hear. The service was great, and the price was great. Would hire Ray's Appliance again.

Fast honest ontime

Ray came out tonight being a Sunday night and didn't upcharge me for after hours. His prices are great and he was very kind. It didn't bother him that my 3 year old was there watching him work, he even kept conversation with her. She said "he is a good fixer" and I couldn't agree more. Not only did Ray fix my dryer but also cleaned my dryer. I have 10 people in my home and being without a dryer is overwhelming. Thank you for recommending Ray to me HomeAdvisor. The servicemen responded to the request for repair of my dishwasher within minutes after it was made. They were at my house within 90 minutes of the initial request on a Sunday, which was in itself remarkable. Once at my home, they thoroughly inspected the appliance and diagnosed the problem, after considering various diagnoses. While here, I mentioned that there was an issue with the circuitboard of my oven range, and they took a look at that without hesitating. They determined that I would need to replace the circuitboard, as no particular repair could be made, and then proceeded to look up the part for me from multiple local parts stores. They provided me with the price for the part and ultimately told me that it was an easy installation that I could likely handle on my own, so as to save me the money on labor. They mentioned that if I needed any assistance, that I could call them and they would be happy to walk me through the installation over the phone. After all this, I was only charged a visit fee which was very reasonable, considering it was a Sunday. Overall, Rays reflects itself as an honest, personable, and competent appliance repair company. I ll be recommending them to friends and colleagues, and will personally use them for future repair needs.

Was in the house 15 minutes. Never went out and got any parts. Charged $160. Way overpriced.
