Everything went great.  They were very communicative.  They told us what they were going to do and got it done.  Their staff is professional and courteous.  I would ask people to talk to Palmer Construction and get a quote from them if they want any work done.  They are honest and straightforward.  Their price is good and they communicate exactly what they are doing.  They do good work.          

My wife and I could not be more pleased with the quality of work and customer service we have received from Palmer Construction. They are professional, organized, punctual, and easy to reach. This was the second time we have used Palmer Construction for roofing. Our initial contact was regarding a leak in our roof. Andy was a pleasure to deal with, and the leak was fixed within a day or two for a very reasonable price. As a result, Palmer Construction was the easy choice to replace our roof this summer after storm damage. While my wife and I were at work, Andy came out to insect our roof and replaced all of the missing shingles before we met or signed a contract to make sure we did not get any rain damage prior to addressing the roof. Our new roof looks great, was completed weeks ahead of schedule, and the crew left no evidence of their work. Many thanks to Andy, Jeremiah, Dan, and the rest of the crew   

This was a great experience; it couldn't have gone better.  Andy Palmer, Dan and Jeremiah were punctual, professional, and very conscientious.  The crew was wonderful, working through literally record setting temperatures.  The roof looks great and I have every confidence that in the unlikely event any trouble arises, Palmer Construction will stand behind thier work.

Both jobs were done well, on time with no additional costs and they used good work site clean maint. during and clean-up at end.  Andy Palmer worked with us to get all the necessary details so there were no surprises as construction proceeded.  He was great to work with and his workers were professional, got the jobs done on time with min. interruptions for the tenants.  I would definitely recommend him for anyone needing this type of work done.

Great contractor. Staff were very professional and knowledgeable.  Work was done quickly and care was taken not to mess up the house.  Thought more work was done, other expected work was not done so we called it even regarding the price, which I thought was fair. Andy will be on my contractor list for the next project!!!!!!

With recommendations from friends and reports from Angies List we interviewed several roofers for an inspection; we were very impressed with Palmer's. Andy climbed through every nook and cranny of our attics and took many pictures to show us the damage and an assessment of the life of the roof. A report followed with recommendations and we determined that a repair, for now, was appropriate. We are following up with action against the manufacturer. On the day the work was scheduled, Dan and Justin showed up on time and ready to go; I happened to be out that morning, but when I came home they were busy! I parked in our driveway and Dan came to meet me and introduce himself; he wanted to move the truck so that I could get into my garage. I was carrying some groceries, so he offered to take them and put them in the garage! (we have a 300 foot driveway & live in the country). Justin took a few minutes to explain what they had accomplished, what he was working on and to show me where they had put samples (for the warranty claim). They worked all day, only stopping to give us updates. When they were done, Dan got back on the roof, took pictures of everything for us. Everything was cleaned up, I mean, it was spotless! Friendly, reliable, great workers, courteous, fair price, great job...and when we replace the roof in 2-3 years, Palmer is who we're hiring!

Dan has been the project manager working with Dustin. The two of them are pros but the most amazing part of their efforts was putting up with our 14 y.o. very ill german shephard. He was deaf and becoming quite senile. He would just stand in their way and to watch two very busy workers paint around the dog, not ever both him and take a moment every time they passed him to say a kind word, take him to his yard, give him treats,etc. When our Mikey passed they seemed as sad as we were. They are more a part of the family now instead of contractors. There is no other contractor we would ever use.

After a rather lengthy process of gathering bids and talking to a variety of local contractors about this job, we chose Palmer for the following reasons: Professionalism and honesty during the bidding process, excellent prior recommendations on Angie's list, quality of materials and workmanship, history of work within our community, ability to get the work done on my schedule, best apparent value overall for the total job. From our very first meeting with company owner Andy Palmer it was evident that he truly valued our business and wished to assure our satisfaction with every aspect of the project. Andy worked closely with us to both determine our needs and educate us about his company's products and processes. I can say unequivocally that his assurances were carried through to the fullest extent. His supervisors and crews behaved in a friendly but efficient and professional manner and took great care to make certain the jobs were done correctly. The jobs were begun and completed on schedule and with no unanticipated added cost. Communication with Andy and his foremen throughout the process was excellent. Clean up was immediate and Andy made certain to follow-up after the work was completed to see that we were completely satisfied. The house looks great and there is no doubt that this work will contribute long term to the value of this and surrounding properties. We plan to call upon Palmer Construction again soon for additional work both at the above rental property and our primary residence. We would recommend this company without reservation to anyone needing exterior remodeling.

Wonderful. The Palmer group was extremely reliable and professional throughout the project. They were great at keeping us informed and the work was outstanding. I continue to have people exclaim over the finished product.

They responded immediately to my phone call and came out and gave me an estimate. It was for about $2000. They were very thorough, but I decided not to go with them. I have nothing really bad to say about them, but it's just that I got another estimate that I thought was a bit better. I chose the other company because of that.

Went well and stayed within budget and timeline.

It all went very smoothly. I was consulted about any thing unusual.

Overall, good job. I had found him on Angie's list. He called back soon and came out within a few days. He gave a list of potential reasons for the leak and solutions, in order of escalated cost. This was very helpful. We started with the least costly solution and also the one that most likely would solve the problem. He emailed a detailed quote. It worked out. It was helpful to know that it might not work though and that we may have to have much more work done if the leak had burrowed through the roof and was not from the obvious source. His guy came out a few weeks later and finished the whole job in a day and we have not noticed any leaking anymore. However, we were gone on the day that they came out and so I did not get a chance to observe the actual work. So far, no more leaks though!

In a word--these people are awesome. The price was far lower than a competing bid. They were punctual to the minute and everyone was polite. They covered the windows and doors to protect them during tear off and when they left I never found one rail or scrap. They were great!

He hasn?t yet finished the work. My overall experience with him so far has been very good. He seems to be a trustworthy and knowledgeable person. He seemed more legitimate and so I didn?t get any other quotes. He also did a promotion which was kind of unique. He was able to give me a high end product for the same price as the typical product that he uses. That made me to go ahead and do it. I talked to my neighbors and they had paid a lot more than what I am paying. I thought that it was a pretty good price. I have been happy with the quality. I went up the roof myself and looked around. He doesn?t use subcontractors and all his people are company employees. He comes from a family of builders and it is his business. They are not just roofers, but do a lot of other things. I have already had compliments from my neighbors for the roof.

It went quite well. The quote was well in line with others, and included a superior shingle, A complete tear down was performed on all shingled surfaces, renailing and replacing as needed. Replaced old can vents with a new baffled ridge vent at the peak, and at the midway break between the gambrels upper and lower surfaces, ice and water shield completely covering front and back shallow roofed one story sections. Great care was taken by the crew to protect our landscaping, etc. The site was meticulous with a thorough clean up and inspection every day. We had an unusual situation in that we wished to apply the shingle not only to the roof but to the vertical walls on either end, giving us a continuous look around the entire second story. A rather complicated and detailed wood trim that we had wrapped was done so with the maximum preservation possible of the detail. I had no idea it was even possible to do such a fine job, but the fellow running the brake was truly a master. My previous experience with Palmer was a very minor roofing patch job to get us through until we could free up our schedules to let the workmen come. (I record in a home studio and had to go several months ahead to clear my schedule) That minor job was addressed with the same attentiveness. A truly formidable and demanding job done with superior workmanship by a polite and considerate crew. I can't speak highly enough about Andy, who bid the job and wrote it up exactly as we wanted, and his obvious honesty and pride in his work, or Dan, the foreman on our job. Terrific experience. Over the course of many years, we've never dealt with a better contractor.

The crew was extremely professional and accomodating. Blocked soffit vents were encountered (they pulled up some of the plywood to check, as per the contract, because I had suspected there would be a problem) and charged a very reasonable amount to pull up the remaining plywood around the perimeter of the roof and install over 60 baffles. The cleaned up thoroughly after completion. We couldn't be more satisfied with the work and would recommend them without reservation.

The job was completed by the third day. The crew was friendly, responsive and especially thorough when cleaning up and completing the project. Price got a fair rating; it was a premium price for a premium job. I could have gotten a better price for less of a job.

I am thrilled with my new porch! The project progressed swiftly and smoothly and not only meets but goes beyond my hopes for a new summer room. This company is first-rate.

They are an absolutely fantastic company. They were great overall with follow up feedback. I didn't end up choosing them for the job, but it was really close. I don't see any reason why anyone wouldn't want an estimate from them. They were very competitive and gave me the best estimate. The head of the company is Andy Palmer and he's a really nice guy. It was absolutely outstanding. The only reason I went with a different company is because it was a friend of the family so I had a personal referral.

It went very well. I highly recommend Palmer Construction. Andy was helpful in determining the best approach to the problems and explained what would be done clearly. In numerous exchanges via phone Andy was very responsive, only one call took more than an hour to be returned. His people were polite, professional and worked efficiently and hard. They did excellent prep and cleanup work. From the time we decided to have Palmer Construction do the work it was scheduled and completed in a timely fashion. We also received a quote on re-roofing that was very competitive. If we proceed with that project in the future we will use Palmer Construction.
