Description of Work: I needed new supply and drain pipes to the second floor of my 1929 built house. They did a great job of reworking my plumbing within the existing structure taking care to not ruin finishes

+ -1 moreHe did a great job, he put in a new tub, sink and toilet. The only bad thing I'll say is I had an emergency with a tub a couple of months later and I couldn't get ahold of him and he didn't return my calls so I got someone else to do the work.
Description of Work: I had a bathroom comletely gutted and remodeled and Fred did all the plumbing work.

+ -1 moreIt doesn't go very well when you have to repay for services that you already had done that weren't done right.
Description of Work: Our Grohe shower was not giving much hot water anymore. They is a filter inside the panel behind the control panel. It was full of minerals (we do have a whole house filter) and he just took out a pocket knife and scraped it and put it back on. We never got optimal hot water and now the temperature dial had a burr that you had to force the handle past. We called Hedlund Plumbing and they came out and 'replaced" the filter and said it never should have been "scraped"-it should have been replaced. No burr to push past now either. We were charged 2/3's less than Fred for a job done correctly. Also have had some other problems with past installs Fred did. We will stick with Hedlund from now on.

+ -1 moreI called him, he was quick to respond. I set up a time for him to come and look at it and he came and was prepared to fix it right away if I gave the go ahead. . He was very through and worked diligently fixing the leak. I appreciated the fact that he was careful and took care to do the project right. I liked that he was careful of my things and took time to quickly wipe his feet so as to not track through my house to the upstairs bathroom. I liked that he cleaned up after fixing the leak, and that he was very professional. I also liked that he personaly was a clean person and was trust worthy. I would hire him again. He was a gem of a find...Makes me glad I am part of angies list...
Description of Work: I had a leak in the upstairs bathroom. He was polite, and and timely, got right to work and was careful of my rugs and carpets so as not to track mud and snow in. I feel he was understanding of the problems and did a through job. He was good at describing what he had to do to fix the leak and made sure I had an understanding of what was the problem.

+ -1 moreHe was friendly and very polite and very helpful in helping me to understand the problems involved (I wanted to know!). He fixed the three problems to my great satisfaction. He was at my house for about 2 hours total. He returned several phone calls when I needed to re-schedule an appointment and was very patient about coming late in the afternoon, after work.
Description of Work: Fred came at two different visits to fix two faulty outdoor faucets - one needed to be replaced, and also worked on a toilet that had been running. He was at my house for about 2 hours total.
