We think very well. We have a 10yr. old Bischon and is very special to us. He requires lots of attention and love which he gets daily. We like the convenience of having our dog Cubby be in his home environment. We have communications with Jill and Tim while we are away and that reasures us Cubby is doing well.

They are amazing and very conscientious about taking care of my dog.  Cooper loves walking with them!

They take excellent care of our senior dog.  He has spent time with them on numerous occassions when we have been traveling.  He is always happy to see them and well cared for while in their care. He takes medication and has a number of health problems that they have to deal with. I highly recommend them!

Everything went very well.  I would definitely call Jill again for my nine-year-old, Sadie.  Jill is very conscientious and considerate.

We are thrilled with Jill!  They are very flexible to come on short notice.  We have been using the service since April (for 3 months now) every few weeks sometimes for 1 day up to 7 days.  They have also administered medication to one of our cats (a few dollars more per visit). They are just great and very reasonable.  Highly recommend!

Everything went wonderful. Met them twice prior to having them stay. Outstanding, reputable people. Very flexible, friendly  and professional. Extremely good with animals and very passionate people. Any and all text messages and phone calls were answered immediately and we were given general updates as well, which was very nice. I am very protective of my animals and though I am sure I drove them crazy with tedious details, etc., they listened and did not seem irritated or annoyed. I have fired pet sitters in the past and am not very laid back when it comes to the people I allow to care for my pets. Believe me when I say they do a phenomenal job! Also used them again on 06/08/2013. Same great results and I will continue to use them.

They are very reliable especially when I travel. I keep in touch through email from abroad and they are always very quick to reply if there is any problem. I do not have anything negative to say about them. I think their price is reasonable.

When the sitter we'd used in the past never got back to us, we started to panic. The only alternative we had was to kennel our dogs, but they would always come back anxious and high strung. We wanted a house sitter, but we needed one ASAP that we could trust!
Sherman's Dog Walking and Pet Services really came through. They came out right away to meet the dogs (even on short notice!) They were personable, and the moment they walked in and met the pooches you could tell they really enjoyed pets and loved their job. The dogs just adored Tim, and he was unafraid of the 75+ lb pit bull running up to him at the door (our pit bull is quite a sweetie, but gets a little too excited when meeting new people!)
I had no issues trusting them in my home, while I'd always been afraid when we'd used independent sitters that we'd either come home to a mess or missing items. They were very professional, and explained they'd been in the business quite a while (and it shows!) They were quite knowledgeable on dogs in general, and were familiar with the behaviors our dogs have and our requests to deal with them (separation anxiety, the use of the gentle leader for walking, bladder control issues, etc.)
We will definitely be using them in the future, even for shorter stays. There's nothing like having that confidence in leaving your pets and knowing they're in good, capable hands.

My partner and I were scheduled to go out of town for four days for a wedding and none of our usual dog-watchers were available to watch our dog. In a panic the day before leaving, I searched Angie's List for pet sitters and found some local sitters. We called Bonafide Bark and Sherman's at the same time and left messages. We never received a return call from Bonafide Bark but Jill Sherman called back within about an hour and said that they could help us out. Jill came over to the house a couple hours later to meet us and the dog, get instructions and receive a key (she also offered to bring in the mail and paper if needed). She was very flexible with our needs as we initially asked her to just watch him for two days until we realized that we would need a full four days of service. She, without hesitation, agreed to watch him for as long as needed and when we returned home the dog was healthy and the house was intact. Jill had left a note letting us know the last time he had been let out and fed, which was nice.

The rates, compared to other pet sitters that we found listed online, were reasonable. The first visit was free and Jill left an itemized bill for us when we returned. If we are in need of pet sitting services, we'll be sure to give the Shermans a call first.
